This marks the seventh game update for Eternower . The update allows repositioning forts after they have just been placed in between levels.

Primary
- Added repositioning

Sprout mode
- Dilemmas now appear every 5 levels (were every 2 levels)
- Flying enemies now have 1/3rd of regular health (was 1/4th)
- Boss enemies now have 1.5x of regular health (was 2x)

Hey,

This marks the sixth game update for Eternower . The update brings back the Sprout mode with Dilemmas as the default mode.

Changes

Primary
- Defeat screen now leads to [Retry] instead of [Menu]
- Added Sprout mode, focusing on level type variety
- Paused menu now lets you [Resume] by clicking on the info bar
- Attempted to patch crashing on Death map
- Hidden 65+ achievements
- Added achievement for reaching [Victory] in Sprout mode
- Added new fort: Void
- Added new fort: Heart

Sprout mode
- There are 60 levels
- Every 4th level is a mass level, which doubles the number of level enemies
- Every 5th level is flying, which ignores your mazing
- Every 6th level is a boss level, which has a single enemy

Fort: Heart
- Speed: 1
- Damage: floor(lives/10)
- Branch A: Lives +10 for 10g
- Branch B: Lives -1 for -1g

Fort: Void
- Speed: 0
- Damage: 0
- Branch A: Void for 5g
- Branch B: Dread for 15g

The update removes the Dilemma mode, brings the total number of maps to 5.

This marks the fourth game update for Eternower . The update brings back dilemma permanence, separates endless mode from the default one, introduces Magma.

Floors

Eternower now has two floors:

  • Completion of the 15th one yields Victory
First floor focuses on your ability to adapt to the rapidly increasing difficulty through dilemmas.
  • Second Floor:
    • Endless levels
    • Dread or Magma dilemma every 10 levels
    • Enemy health scales exponentially with each level
    • Getting defeated uploads your progress score to the new leaderboard .
    Second floor focuses on your ability to create a maze.

    Armor

    A new dilemma now allows increasing the armor of enemies. Armor reduces incoming enemy damage. For example, to kill an enemy with 1 health and 1 armor in one shot, you need to do 2 damage once or 1.2 damage 5 times.

    Most dilemmas now show the direct value change from the previous one.

    Consider completing Level 15 as beating the game and levels from then on as a test of endurance.

    Release! + Game Plan

    Hey,

    This post marks the release of Eternower , compares the demo and paid game versions and outlines the planned future of the game.

    Release

    Eternower is now officially live!
    Play the demo and buy the game if you enjoy it.

    Demo vs Full Game

    The demo, as released today, is mostly the same as the paid game.
    The demo, as released today, has 1 tower, while the paid game has 2.

    Game Plan

    The game is released at $1 (or equivalent).
    The plan is to improve the game via updates and increase the price gradually over time.
    The updates would be focused on the paid game, leaving the demo as is or with minor changes.
    Buying the game early will grant access to all potential price-raising updates.

    Warning

    Note, the plan does not exclude the possibility of paid DLC.
    It's also possible that the game will get absolutely zero updates. Beware!
