Localization table has 229 entries to localize. Half of them are two-word phrases. There are a few simple technical rules you would need to follow. Now you can race against your previous best run. To enable this feature, go to Settings>Additional>Race Ghost. You will need to run level once to be able to see the ghost.
Honestly, I didn't expect this to be that much fun! Go check it out in the game!
In the future, I would love to attach ghosts to leaderboard entries, allowing you to race against other players too!
Finally, a fix for the dash-slide spam issue is publicly available. Unfortunately, this means some leaderboard entries will be removed, as some of the runs are impossible now. Fix introduces the "stamina" mechanic to the game, which should remove the burden of clicking buttons as fast as humanly possible, and instead motivates players to seek the best routes.
Added input buffer time for dash and jump actions.
Landing no longer consumes a physics tick.
Key pickup radius doubles when moving faster than 20m/s.
Added an experimental option to increase tick rate for more precise movement calculations. This is a performance-heavy setting and should be used only when game is running on more than 200 frames per second. For now, this setting does not persist between sessions and should be manually enabled every time you launch the game.

Nothing huge, just fixing my mistakes with visible triggers and invisible walls on some stages.

Hide Wings Some players found them distracting, so now you can disable them entirely.
Here are the most noticeable improvements:
Fixed player's leg clipping into the camera during dash.
Heart stage layout updated: sections 2 and 3 have been swapped for better pacing. [strike]skip?[/strike]
Fixed finish line triggers on multiple stages.
Fixed snakes' visuals and lighting.
We're working hard to take Blessed Burden even further. Here's whats on the horizon, in rough order of priority:

Add new game modes/difficulties:
Casual (the current game mode)
Challenging (fewer checkpoints, 3 deaths lead to a restart of the stage)
Ghostrun (any death leads to a stage restart)
Helldive (any death resets a game and starts from the beginning)
Official Steam Deck support
Add an in-game ranking for completing the stage based on time. Like bronze, silver, gold medals, etc.
Ghost replays race your own or others' past runs.
Add legit skips to some annoying stages, like Facility.
Add new secrets on the levels that are optional and do not affect upgrades. Some of them will be possible to find only with full upgrades.
Add some customization options. Currently, pants and shoes are being discussed. Would love to hear your ideas on that!

This update brings a range of improvements to core gameplay systems, visuals, and level design. Below is a breakdown of what's been changed or added.

Fixed destructible columns they should no longer break on the first touch.
Fall damage calculation has been corrected for more predictable results.
Hitboxes improved so that deaths from traps feel more fair.
Weve expanded the movement system to be more flexible and responsive:
Priest can now dash while crouching in mid-air.
Priest can now jump while sliding.
Added a new Field of View setting. For technical reasons it's capped at 110 degrees.
It's now possible to assign an alternative key binding for each action.
A dedicated dash button has been added for gamepads \[R1-right shoulder].
(Game partially supports gamepad inputs. Mouse is required only to navigate menus.)
Added a blob shadow under the priest for better grounding.
Visual effects for slide, gravity, and dash abilities have been improved.
Blessings Bar finally has new visuals

Fixed the Maximum power achievement for collecting all relics.
(To retrigger the achievement simply complete any stage.)
Implemented a temporary leaderboard viewer from the Stage Select menu.
(It's clunky for now, but you no longer need to finish the level to see your position on the leaderboard.)
