BUG FIXES
Vanishing Items
A flag was not clearing correctly, which caused certain items to disappear. This has been fixed, and a basic item-restoration fallback has been added.
Incubators Appearing in the Wrong Location
Some incubators were loading under the wrong scene. A fallback system has been added so every loaded object now checks the scene it is parented to and uses that to determine its correct location.
In several cases, new objects had been placed on top of old incubator positions. This caused overlaps where the grid cell was already occupied, preventing one of the items from registering.
If this happened to you:
Move the object you can interact with.
Save the game.
Load the game again.
The stuck incubator should correct itself.
Alternatively, you can pick up the overlapping object, or a pickup will be printed at that location.
Crafting Page Tooltips
Tooltips were showing on empty crafting slots. Added a safeguard to prevent this.
Quest Dialogue Auto-Play
Quest dialogue will now only auto-play when an NPC has exactly one quest and that quest is ready to be handed in.
In all other situations (except the tutorial), you will need to click on the quest to view the dialogue.
This adjustment also resolved the issue with Kings quest.
Chus Quest
This resolves the issues with Chus job board quest not progressing.
Missing Bed
The game now protects against the bed disappearing. On load, it will:
Attempt to place the bed into your inventory
If that fails, place a bed pickup at your characters position
Check chest inventories and move the bed to your inventory if it was stuck in a chest
This was tested by removing the bed manually from a save file and verifying correct restoration.
