[p]Heyyo adventurers! This will be a Quick Info Dump on how Deep Dark Wrath will work on the Steam Deck(as well as SteamOS) users, and certain game mechanics pertaining to Linux, SteamOS, and Steam Deck changes!
From personal testing, the game works fine on the Steam Deck. I've been playing and testing mostly on the Steam Deck recently. With v3.0+, certain UI navigation fixes were done to properly allow Steam Deck and Generic Controller users to navigate the UI.
Steam Deck Performance Settings

Linux, SteamOS, and Steam Deck Folders
This is basically just the Native Downloads folder of the Linux Distro or the SteamOS Proton Layer. If you use v3.0+, the Native Linux Folder(in the Desktop Mode for Steam Deck and SteamOS) is where the Backups are sent. If you use v2.9.9 and below, the game will use the Proton Layer as there was no Linux version for v2.9.9 and below.
- Previous Proton Main Save Folder - .local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2891520/pfx/drive_c/users/ste
amuser/AppData/Roaming/CraftedCircuitry - Previous Proton Downloads Folder - .local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2891520/pfx/drive_c/users/ste
amuser/Downloads - v3.0+ Native Main Save Folder - .local/share/CraftedCircuitry
- v3.0+ Native Downloads Folder - ~/Downloads
Moving Save from v2.9.9 and Below on Proton to the v3.0+ Native Linux Files
With v3.0+, the game now has a Native Linux version that uses the Native Directory for placing Files and Save Backups of Deep Dark Wrath.
