Seaside Racing is now free-to-play!

The re-launch of the game didn't gather as many players as I would have hoped and sales has slowed down to a trickle in the last couple of weeks. The original game sold a lot of units on Xbox Live Indie Games back in 2010 and I fondly remember playing packed races online, talking to people over voice chat and strangers showing me shortcuts I didn't know about that they had discovered. I would love it if the game had a small revival, but at this rate it's not going to happen. Making the game free-to-play is my last-ditch effort to get new players into the game. My plan to (slowly) add more content to the game has not changed though, so stay tuned for future updates!

3 large seaside maps (no more, no less)
Randomly generated avatars (you can switch but not choose)
Possible to get lost (the game doesn't even know where to go)
Unpredictable respawn logic (that makes it possible to reach tricky places)
No placement indicator

* The game has a cult following among at least one group of friends in Indiana, USA, since its original release on Xbox Live Indie Games in 2010. I've also been notified that there is a cult following in High Wycombe, England, UK in addition to the aforementioned cult following in the USA.
