Multiplayer
Play up to 8 players in local splitscreen! Steam "Remote Play Together" is supported. The game is family friendly and offers some assistance for younger players or beginners. However, to fully master the game, you'll have to take advantage of all the controls the game offers. Easy to get, hard to master!
Dive to Boost
At any time you can choose to dive under the track; this makes you drift but you gain boosts afterwards. The trick is, diving can also be done in a straight line. Use it wisely to outrun your opponents! But will you be able to handle this super speed? Diving is also useful to avoid bad stuff on the track.
Ride Animals
Who has never dreamt of riding wildlife animals ? Now you can choose among 6 cute animals. All animals have the same stats, so it's only a matter of personal taste.
Bonus
Find bonuses along the way to boost, protect yourself, or clutter the way of other players... But be careful, every trap will stay there until the end of the race. So try not to punish yourself! It can quickly become a mess and the last lap is often full of surprises.
Dreamy Tracks
Tracks take place in oneiric worlds where nature is all around: clouds amongst auroras, snowy moutains, tropical islands or celtic lands... Some tracks are totally upside down, others are more peaceful and contemplative. Here's a little update to fix a few bugs that I've noticed during the last monthes. Mainly improper colliders, and some bad respawn places.

Here is a MASSIVE update of Slide, Animal Race! I tried to listen to all the feedback you gave me. I hope you'll like it!
Main improvements:
- 4 new tracks (Ocre Canyon, The Wave, Boreal Whales, Smooth Dunes) (10 tracks total)
- 2 new characters (Raccoon & Eagle) (8 animals total)
- 12 concurrents on each track
- Relooking of minimaps icons
- New & more understandable victory screen with race timings
- AI reworking for a better difficulty balance
- A new track for the demo (Diplodocus Desert instead of Dragons of Aurora)
Other improvements:
- Nice smoke FX in desert races
- Sound & music rebalancing
- Larger tracks for the difficult levels Pirate Cove & Dragons of Aurora
- Fix lots of bad respawn bugs
- Breakable lanterns in Lantern Festival
- Readability improvements: black outline on animals, remove useless random FX, rework assets positioning on some tracks
- Better gravity and orientation management during jumps
- Nicer animal selection screen
- Improvement of some animal models
- Thin black line to separate each player subscreen
- Slight gameplay adjustment on slowing grass, bombs & lightning
- Polish on some feedback (slowing grass, lightning & speeder)
- Many fixes & optimisations

Recently I've been working on the next update for "Slide, Animal Race", and on top of the 4 new tracks, there will also be 2 new playable animals. Here's a few screens to introduce you a cute raccoon and a wild eagle:
Of course, I plan to keep adding more animals on the long run. Ideally, I would like to add tons of them! But, it takes a bit of time...
Anyways, stay tuned, the upgrade will come next month :)

It's been a while since my last post, so here is a quick news regarding Slide, Animal Race: Im currently working on new tracks in order to provide more content (Ive had some kind feedback from you players about that). So here are a few screens:

Another desert track (that I designed with my daughter... more on that later)
The Wave! A massive tsunami that should make everything upside down
I plan to add more of course, and these should be released before the end of year.

Hello there! Its been a while! As always, I have many new things to share with you, and not enough time to write about it!
But one thing at a time ! Today I share a few Blender video tutorials Ive made while creating Slide Animal Race. Its the making-of of the penguin character, from scratch to the final asset. Each video is 10-15mn long and present a single stage of the creation : modeling, texturing, rigging and animation.

The audio is in French (so you can hear my beautiful voice ), but hopefully, the video process is pretty much self explanatory so it can be understood by everyone.

It's been quite a journey to get there, and I learnt a lot in many different areas in the process (music, marketing, animation, level design, whatever, you name it...).

For reminders: Slide, Animal Race is a local multiplayer race game with cute animals, for little and big kids. In this game, you can:

The final release of Slide is approaching! For reminders, it's planned on February, 17th.
Right now I'm working on (better) translations of the game. It will be available in English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, French, German and Spanish. Here's a little glimpse at it:

I've also worked on fixed camera positioning. They are used to showcase the track and the animals when you've finished a race.
Anyways,I'm also working on minor bugs, balancing AIs, ... Almost there!

In Slide, you can ride cute animals to race against your friends through dreamy tracks. Master the dive to avoid obstacles and gain boosts, explore environments to find hidden shortcuts, use power-ups to outrun the horde.
