The Matchmaking has been improved!
New Features
- Reduce game placement timeouts.
- Players will be notified earlier when there is no server available for hosting a game.
- During Quick/Ranked Play Matchmaking, the loading screen can be minimized to allow browsing the main menu while waiting.
Changes for Pieces
- Banshee:
- Old: Range - 2.5|3.0|3.5 Cells New: Range - 2.5 Cells (For all levels)
- Old: Ability Charges - 5 New: Ability Charges - 7
- Griffin:
- Old: Ability Charges - 10 New: Ability Charges - 7
- Bard:
- Old: Ability Charges - 5 New: Ability Charges - 7
Bugs Fixed
- Master Sound level is now properly persisted upon game restarts.
- Phantom Board Master will no longer appear on customizations screen viewport.
- Phantom pieces won't be spawned by bots on players' areas.
- Fixed FX for various pieces. Projectiles are now more reliable on client's representation.
- Fixed Succubus rotation after the ability cast.

Inspired by the popular Dota 2 Auto Chess game mode, King of the Board is an auto-battler game, mixing together elements of the classic chess game with elements from the fantasy fiction world. The game features 8 players competing against each other in an exciting last man standing duel.
The ultimate goal: carefully engage chess pieces in strong combinations and optimal arrangement on the board to successfully encounter the opponent formations. Mastering the mechanics and synergies governing chess pieces, understanding the probabilities of getting certain pieces and carefully following the in-game economy are some of the key skills required, in order to adopt a successful strategy.
The result: a fun and entertaining game, which can be enjoyed together with friends. So, are you ready to be the next King of the Board?
