I've gotten a bit of feedback from people over the past week. In the process of updating the game, I created a neat automated system to build and deploy the game automatically to Steam and itch as well! So that's definitely a win :)

v2.3 updates

Resetting the game now clears the spirit card as well
When you deliver spirits to the last portal on the map, but spirits still exist on the map, you game over (no more weird soft locks)
Windowed mode functions a bit better now and doesn't crop off the game on wide monitors
Added more context-sensitive prompts for keyboard/controller support
A few really minor tweaks I probably forgot about

I know I keep saying it, but this will likely be the last update for a while. I've got some more projects in the works that are really exciting. Right now it's using "developer art", which is to say it's not pretty to look at. I'm hoping to fix that up and get something ready for people to play in a few weeks. Thank you for all your support and kind words on this game! Feel free to get in touch with bug reports and game suggestions. I can always add it to the list next time I poke at it :)

You are Death, the Grim Reaper, the dark collector of lost souls. Unfortunately, your horse has fallen ill so you need to drive a bus instead.

Navigate traffic, shoddy roads, and try not to run out of gas while gathering up angels and demons in this turn-based puzzle game. Deliver these wayward souls to heaven or heck across 50 levels in this simple retro puzzle game.
