Earth lies in ruin. Our ever advancing Aether technology opened a rift to another time, unleashing an ancient beast upon the galaxy. Known as the Destroyer, this massive creature travels from world to world devouring the Aether in planet cores only to leave a dead shell in its wake.
You play as a Galactic Cadet, tasked with traveling to hostile planets in search of precious resources before The Destroyer rips through the planet core. Team up with friends, gather resources, and craft powerful gear on your home planet so you can aid the fight to save the galaxy!
Features:
- Explore Procedurally Generated Worlds: Each world is generated as you and your Combat Squad beam down. With exotic creatures, hostile monsters, and unique ores and vegetation, each planet provides a different experience and challenge that will test your skill and knowledge of survival in Roguelands.
- Unique Crafting System Gathering resources in Roguelands is unlike any other game. Instead of using a pickaxe or a hatchet to gather resources from ore deposits and trees, you command your Droids to do all of the work for you! Droids have different passive abilities and can cut down trees, mine ores, gather herbs, and even fight for you in combat. Once you've acquired 10 pieces of any loot, you can craft an Emblem. Combine any 3 Emblems at the Gear Forge to acquire a new piece of gear and expand your recipe log!
- Permanent Death, but Permanent Progress Upon death your Galactic Cadet will die: losing all weapons, armor, and loot in their inventory. But anything that you've stored back on your ship will remain persistent across ALL of your characters! After tons of character deaths you'll have permanently unlocked new Races, Variants, Augments, and Starting Uniforms that you can mix and match to create a unique play style. Also, any upgrades to your ship and saved NPCs will be permanent, so your new characters can have access to all of your hard earned resources!
- Master Every Weapon Type & Variant: Roguelands features tons of exciting weapon types that players can experiment with. By progressing further through the galaxy by slaying monsters and crafting items, players will unlock new weapon variants with unique stats and randomly generated augments. Craft the perfect piece of gear through combining and forging!
- Collect All Combat Chips: Every Galactic Cadet can equip up to five Combat Chips before beaming out to a planet. These special augments can provide not only passive buffs for you and your squad, but also active abilities such as teleportation or enabling the use of Darkfire. Through exploration of both hostile planets and neutral cities and towns, players will amass a collection of these powerful chips and enable a variety of playstyles and character archetypes.
- Unlock the Secrets Behind the Destroyer & the Scourge: The more NPCs you save, the more knowledge you'll acquire about the galaxy's chaotic and mysterious history. Where did the Destroyer come from? What is its true purpose?
I JUST WORKED FOR 24 HOURS STRAIGHT.
I've been working on Roguelands for over a year and a half. This is my biggest and best game I've ever made and it's all thanks to you guys. The constant bug reports and suggestions really go a long way and help speed up the development time on my end since I'm a solo dev.
BUT HOLY COW do I have a build for you guys. First things first, only the first allegiance has a complete storyline. The others are somewhat finished but I thought you guys would appreciate it if I held em back took my time on those. They will be coming in the next builds for sure.
I think the game is worthy of moving out of early access now. It has over 70 unlockables, 12 planets, over 150 weapons, over 150 helmets/armors, fully functioning multiplayer, and some really crazy challenges to keep you cadets busy. A lot of users already have 100-700 hours of playtime and we've gotten to the point where there are little to no bugs apparent(Although I'm sure you guys will break this build, so I'm leaving Development Mode on for awhile xD).
It has been a long and crazy ride. I think new builds won't come out every 7 days maybe idk. I still want to go back and update Magicite due to popular demand. In the coming days I will be working on both!!!

**ULTIMATE GAUNTLETS**
Mystic arrow scales with MAG+FTH and goes through enemies.
Elementalizer scales with MAG+VIT/2 and shoots 2 projectiles that move through enemies
Flareblade scales with MAG+FTH/2 and has a massive hitbox. moves through enemies.
Ice Whip is now Ice Wall and scales with MAG. Pushes enemies & moves through them.
Wrath Aura scales with MAG*2 and shoots an additional projectile every couple of seconds. Drains mana.
Nether Torrent scales with MAG+DEX/2 and spawns at mouse cursor. Moves through enemies.
Bolganone scales with MAG/FTH/2. crit rate +25. Only horizontal.
Caius' Pyre spawns a fire turret at mouse location. Projectiles scale with MAG+TEC/2.
Elfire scales with MAG+FTH. Heal 2 HP upon crit.
Gafgard's Maelstrom scales with MAG+DEX. bonus dash and jump speeds!
Maalurk Totem scales with MAG+DEX+TEC but only horizontal and costs 3 mana.
Monk Gauntlet stats are now [1,4,0,0,3,0] and scales with MAG+STR. moves slow.
Tornado scales with MAG+FTH/2 and has a huge hitbox but only moves horizontal.
Airsplitter is now [1,4,0,0,3,0] scales with MAG+STR/2 and has 3 projectiles.
Gruu's Talisman scales with MAG+TEC+VIT but costs 5 mana per attack.
Destruction wave scales with MAG+DEX but only horizontal
Annihilation scales with MAG+DEX/2 and fires 3 projectiles but only moves upwards.
Banana scales with MAG*3 and bonus jump/dash but your hp cannot go higher than 50.

Twilight Staff scales with FTH/4+VIT/2. projectile is fast.
Enigma scales with FTH/4+MAG/2 and heals for 1 if touches a player. Costs 2 mana.
Summoner's Staff scales with FTH/4. fast projectiles and projectiles last a lot longer.
Armageddon scales with FTH/4+MAG/2+TEC/2 and costs 5 mana.
Doomsayer scales with FTH/4+MAG/2. Fast Projectile.
Merciless Gladiator is now [0,3,0,2,0,3] and scales with FTH+STR/2. slow projectile.
Bubblegum staff sclaes with FTH/4+VIT/2 and causes players to bounce upwards upon collision.
Cherry Blossom scales with FTH/4+VIT/2. heals 1 hp upon use and decreases all status percents by 10.
