Hello Everyone, First, Thank you! Thank you for your support of BYE. Back in November we asked for your support in our pursuit of recognition for our game and the response was overwhelming. All of that hard work paid off. We are so happy to report that BYE has been nominated for a BAFTA! The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has nominated BYE in their Game Beyond Entertainment category and we couldnt be more happy that the game you all love is being recognized the world over. Coda is a story-driven game that utilizes players' blinks as the central mode of interaction, with each blink evolving the story. You begin aboard the ship of a mythical Ferryman, tasked with shepherding souls to the afterlife. In order to do so, you must tell him the entire story of your life in a series of flashbacks. With each blink, time passes faster and faster, but the Ferryman questions the truth of your story. He forces you deeper into your painfully repressed past, revealing a tragic truth about who you were, and who you weren’t. Coda tells a relatable story about the impossible expectations we place on ourselves, and the irrational regrets we carry with us when we feel we aren’t measuring up.
