This is the first in a series of Arcade games. I want to create small and solid games with simple mechanics, fun and at the lowest possible price for the players, so I created the series of Arcade games. Expect Space Smash to be a small, solid and replayable game. Your only goal is to constantly beat the best score on the board and unlock items, ships and collectibles.

First game update brings some improvements to the default control settings, menu navigation and a map of the keyboard controls.
The game underwent rigorous tests in the recognition and remapping of controls, the tests were made with an Xbox One controller (Xinput) and generic Playstation 2. Some problems like starting with the inverted joystick axis have been resolved, but nothing very serious has been found.
Now, in the controls remap menu, a map of the keyboard controls will appear, if the chosen player has no control assigned to him.
The navigation in side menus has also been improved, now you use buttons with 'Q' and 'E', RB and LB to navigate between the menus, this made navigation easier and easier to understand.

Space Smash was crashing on some computers in the previous version (v1.1.0). In version 1.1.1, we added an option to remove the PARTICLE PLEXUS effect and optimized the background particles of each scenario.
The PARTICLE PLEXUS feature doesn't change gameplay, it's just a visual effect that we believe makes the game a little prettier, but that requires a bit more hardware. To remove this feature, simply access the video options from the main menu.

Using the keyboard
We've improved the way you can play using the keyboard, in previous versions you were required to play using only one key pattern to play with the keyboard, but some players were not comfortable playing in that pattern. Now you can play using one of the classic keyboard patterns in spaceship games, check out the new patterns.
You do not have to do anything at all to modify this, the game will know if you are using the as WASD keys or the arrow keys and will show the respective weapons use buttons on the weapons panel. This applies to the game's CO-OP mode if player 2 is using the keyboard.

Before it was necessary to be in the top five of the rank in infinite mode.
