I hope everyone is enjoying playing Exertus so far! Just wanted to release a brief update on Exertus regarding the plan going forward because as of the night of Exertus release I have been in hospital and it is likely that will be the case for a week or so now. The initial plan was to be releasing updates very frequently, I do want to reiterate that once I return from hospital that will be the case and I will be going over and pushing out patches to get a few of the bigger issues I and other players have spotted throughout my absence and then making improvements as planned. Exertus is a first-person action platformer with free-run and old school FPS inspired movement mechanics.
Through use of the fluid movement set within the game and the dynamic level elements, players have the simple aim of getting from point A to point B, either by using the beaten path or the off-path environment in the semi-linear levels.
Compete against yourself and other players through global platform leaderboards and statistics, or relax and play for fun.
Play through 27 original levels with a semi-linear design. The aim is to get from start to finish but how you choose to do so is entirely up to you.
