Patch 1.1.4 is live!

Hello everyone! Patch 1.1.4 is live, another quality of life update in continuous commitment of refining the DON'T GIVE UP experience!

What's new:

-keybind remapping for keyboard -a new color for unblockable attacks! So far, players had to learn about unblockable attacks the hard way, but this update will make them easy to spot. Players use to and preferable to keyboard play will be able to customize controls to their liking! thanks for your support!

Patch 1.1.3 is live!

Patch 1.1.3 is out! This is a quality of enjoyment update and addresses a few issues:

Travel

-Trains now drop Tris off OUTSIDE of the destination station, this will cut the time to traverse through train stations in the game in HALF

Hints/Progression

-Subris now has hints! Press the task button while Subris to hear his thoughts on his current situation! -Hint reminding players of the parry functions occurs during Ted Tantrums conflict -Hint informing players about Anxious Status added to the game -Hint informing players about Depressed status added to the game Currently planning on adding a tile change for unblockable attacks!

Patch 1.1.2

Hope you're all enjoying the game! Here are the patch notes:

based on feedback we've added an additional autosave to the "martial law" chapter to break up the intensity and allow an improved starting point for a tough boss
once you beat the game you can now quickly scrub through dialogue by holding left ctrl or left trigger!

DON'T GIVE UP: A Cynical Tale will be releasing 9/16/19 7AM PDT! Be there! Or be square! :D 1.1 includes fully illustrated portraits as well as New Game + and a secret boss! Get lost in a pixel world of over 100 NPCs and 100 objects! We'll be launching with some cool events too!

This is a super exciting time for me! The road to release DON'T GIVE UP, my first commercial game in full, continues on! Early access is set to begin down the road, I want to polish up a few more things in the first chapter of the game as a starting point, including feedback received thus far! DON’T GIVE UP is the comedic story of Tris, a cynical asocial game developer living in the town of Threeson who’s more concerned with flirting than figuring out where he’s next meal is coming from.
