Oculto was conceived as an experimental narrative game. The affliction mechanics add tension to the exploration. Thus, Oculto is halfway between a narrative walking simulator and a survival platformer. We understand that there are players who prefer one genre or the other, so we have added optional death, for those who prefer more of a horror walking simulator. In the initial menu settings there is the option to disable death at any time. Let me know if you find any bugs.

Thanks to watching several gameplays, we've adjusted some gameplay mechanics to make the overall experience more satisfying. We were never totally satisfied with "Void Mine", we thought it now has a more suitable name for the mysterious tone of the game.
