Hello vikings! We want to begin with mentioning that well be renaming these monthly blog posts to Word From the Devs, since many of you have felt that the name Development Blog isnt as fitting anymore. We hope that the new naming will be more suitable, and that it will cover everything these posts are about! We also want to reassure you all that we are very much still working on the game, and that there are a lot of things behind the scenes that we arent showing you just yet! The Deep North development is in progress, but we want to leave a lot of it for you to discover yourselves. Its called an Elaking, and we have a picture of it for you as well:

Were also working on a smaller update, which will be released before the Deep North, that focuses on improving Valheims combat mechanics. And yes, that includes at last fixing slope fighting! But what would a combat update be without some new armour? Some of you may already have glimpsed it on our Instagram stories last week, but heres a better look!
