Even if you didn't know it yet, you always wanted to have a mage riding on a boar. High movement range, throwing around fireballs, ramming enemies with your boar, and fleeing the scene if things start getting too ugly. ---------- Like in most other strategy games, the first few scenarios in TMR are fairly easy to beat in order to provide a smooth learning curve for new players. This poses a problem to experienced players though, since trying out new classes becomes a tad boring with 'too easy' scenarios early on. While this can be partially mitigated by cranking up the difficulty, this isn't an entirely satisfying solution. This problem has been addressed now in patch 3.4.1. For some scenarios (especially early ones) there is an alternative version which is more interesting and challenging. Whenever such an alternative scenario version exists, the player can decide whether he wants to play the default version or the more challenging one. This is done via a popup dialog right before starting the scenario. Like most of the other new features in TMR, this is completely optional. You can choose to try out the more challenging version of a scenario at any time, but no one forces you to do so.
