I made a great improvement in the game suggested by you! you can now access the Garage to change weapons in the game over menu. This feature is only available in normal mode, it does not make sense to implement this in Hardcore mode and Infinity mode already has something similar.

The amount of orbs to buy the items in the garage is the same amount that the mission starts, if you start the stage with 50 orbs and die with 150 orbs, it is only worth the initial 50 orbs. This is to balance the game, so theoretically you can only buy new weapons by defeating a boss.
