Good news everyone! The issues that resulted in crashes during solo play are fixed with this update! We're continuing our work on improving and bettering the game - and hoping you'll enjoy it more and more with every patch! Another important note: Due to a lot of negative feedback surrounding the game's Matchmaking system, we've decided to include the following changes with this update- "Find Servers" option is now disabled. A lot of players reported multiple network-related issues that occured only while joining a game through "Find Servers" option. For now, you'll be able to join your friends in-game through Steam Invite, or "Friend Servers" menu in-game. Other issues fixed in this update:

Fixed an issue in which players sometimes were kicked out to the main menu while playing solo
Fixed an issue in which Factory Pickaxe was not able to mine Crystals
Fixed an issue in which player could use Shift + LMB to equip items from the inventory (you still can use double click LMB or F to do this)
Fixed an issue in which rocket shot from the turret in The Prisoners quest did not clear the debris in certain cases
Fixed several issues with terrain in some places in the world

The Wild Eight is in a constant state of improvement, and it is not yet complete. If you are not ready for rare bugs and wipes, we recommend waiting for the full release. This does not mean that the game is unplayable or lacks features, it’s actually vice-versa! Right now The Wild Eight is fully enjoyable and has all main features such as the multiplayer, storyline and side quests. Buying the game and providing your feedback during Early Access will support us in improving the game. For more details check out our Early Access section above.

SURVIVE
Brave new horizons in this beautiful, yet deadly random generated low-poly world. Warm your body around the campfire at night. Take shelter from blizzards and share the food with other survivors!
CRAFT & IMPROVE
Gather whatever you can to create the tools that will ensure your survival - weapons, clothing and gathering tools. Upgrade survival skills in your shelter to tailor the gameplay to your needs.
HUNT OR BE HUNTED
Flee from the ferocious beasts or turn the tables and let them taste your fear. However, there are things lurking in the wild that are even more dangerous than wild animals and blizzards.
