Hello, dear fans!

It's been quite a while since our last update, and we would like to apologize profusely for that. Unfortunately, this past year has been very difficult for our studionot just due to the pandemic and its effects on our members, but also because of personnel changes we've had to make. In that time, many of you have expressed concerns about our participation in Kumiho Soft's "War of Ashird," but we'd like to reassure you that there's nothing to worry about: WoA is being handled by a different division (with only slight overlap between it and Bloody Chronicles).

That said, we bear total responsibility for delays on the latterand because of that, we would like to give another (equally deep and profuse) apology. To pull back the curtain a bit, we'd like to explain some of what's happened: Firstly, one of the most painful blows to our project was when its director, Kaoru Satoyo, became hospitalized. Her failing health led to her having to step down, and her absence was immediately felt by our team members. Secondly, we lost our Chinese translation groupcausing the project to come to a complete halt.

Thankfully, there is light at the end of this particular tunnel. As of this message, we would like to announce that these issues have been rectifiedand that we've welcomed new Chinese team members to localize our titles for Chinese fans. Our studio's current plan is to release the next DLC: IF MODE - Aki; following that, we hope to work on IF MODE - Suzumi, as well as a special "Beach Episode."

We are pleased to present the first episode of IF MODE.
As a result, we've made some changes to the game, which are described below.
You can enter the IF MODE system in two ways:

From the game level.
- when unlocking IF MODE KAORU, the game will ask you if you want to continue playing true ending or you want to go to the IF MODE system.

From the menu.
-for players who have already played the game and are only interested in IF MODE, you can have directly access via Extra -> IF MODE -> IF MODE Kaoru.
We remind you that IF MODE is not canonical [that means that events from IF MODE will not be continued in the second part of the game]


Another DLC in the queue is IF MODE AKI, which we are already working on and will soon be available on Steam.

New modern UI

The old UI was designed back in the year 2016, during that time many things have changed. We think that our old UI didn't match our requirements for the current trend on the market.
We hope you like the new UI as much as we do!
Here some example how new UI looks like.
Additional we redesign history so navigation through history chat is now easier.
You can gain access to the history menu by clicking the icon on the right side.
History menu also contains a new option- "side story,"
During your game, our new character Misato Kanie will guide you on how to unlock and manage side story panel.

Extra Menu: IF MODE and DLC.
Some time ago we announced that each character would have their own ending that we called "IF".
With this update, we added IF MODE in Extra Menu.


Few words about IF MODE.
IF MODE is directed to the adult players only!
Story present in "IF MODE" isn't connected with the main story. It's an alternative ending of the main story.

Many players have asked us about IF Mode with secondary characters such as Eiko, Michiko or Asako. We are honored because it means players love Bloody Chronicles' story and characters as much as we do. For now, due to time and budget constraints, we must focus on IF Mode Episodes with the main cast members.
But!

We at Igrasil always listen to our fans' suggestions so, if Bloody Chronicles is a big success, we are willing to work on R18 content for Eiko, Michiko, and Asako.


So if you want to see more content of these lovely Waifu in the future, please spread the word and help us to create the best visual novel saga!

Dear Bloody Chronicles Community,


We finished our beta testing period and feedback was very positive regarding the story, graphics, music etc.

However, beta testers pointed out that the number of grammar mistakes on the English version was too high (luckily for us, both the Japanese and Chinese versions are unaffected).


This happened despite having three different native English speakers translating and proofreading our script from Japanese.

We could easily fix them in our first update when we were talking about a dozen of something wrong.

Unfortunately, the amount of lines that need to be fixed is much higher.

Correcting hundreds of lines and re-recording them takes time.

We faced a dilemma because we wanted to release Bloody Chronicles according to our announced launch date but at the same time, we don't want to offer a game that does not meet our own high-quality standards.


What does that mean for the english Version?



The fact that we have to deal with several online stores (especially Steam) further complicate matters because release dates can't be easily changed.

In the end, after discussing the different options, we decided to release the game for you as Early Access version, so you can play it right now in its current state and see the improvements as we update them, until the definitive release on Q1 2019.




This Early Access version will have a 20% discount over the final retail price.

The backers will receive their digital keys for the main game as well as the DLC episodes (IF Mode, Christmas, Beach episodes) as soon as they're available, so those who supported us on Kickstarter will get a lot of extra content.



We are deeply sorry for this issues and we hope that this solution will be the best for everyone.
