Hello everyone! Choo-Choo Weekly and new awesome levels from the workshop are here. We cant wait to tell you more about them, so we will not hesitate let's go!
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1759994003 Let's start with the warm sunny Italian Alps. Green meadows are in front of you as if descended from canvases of pastoral painters that you have to bring to life with threads of railways. Traditional animal husbandry is complemented by the production of printed materials, because each inhabitant of these small towns needs to relax in the evenings with a book in their hands in their lush garden. If you love Italy just like @Giangi7723, then you can find other maps about this beautiful country on the author's Steam page!
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1763314839 The author of 50 levels of the main campaign of the game, @Grem made an excellent level for the workshop, or rather, specifically for our competition Lets play together. Looking at the name of the map, you can probably guess who will look at you from this quiet picturesque lake. @Grem offers you a choice of a whole bunch of options for completing this level, and during the day that the competition lasted, it seemed to us that the competition with such maps should be extended 2 times so that there is enough time for everyone to try and hone all the routes and find the most optimal one. However, it is not necessary for you to set records (they are not so easy to beat, by the way), it is much more pleasant to look idly at the uncomplicated landscape, that hides so many routes in some magical way. You will definitely find the work of the Master in Featured!
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1762600208 The new map from @h2onik is like a box under the Christmas tree in December: whatever is hidden in it, it will definitely be a pleasant surprise. And the current box amazed us! In it, we found a fantastic story about a Polish engineer who was invited to Peru to build a railway and designed an amazing route that connected the Pacific and Atlantic oceans through the Andes. This was a real engineering marvel (by the standards of the second half of the 19th century; however, even now this road is impressive) that included dozens of tunnels, bridges and viaducts, and also ran at an altitude of over 4800 meters above sea level! Construction was carried out in incredibly difficult conditions and @h2onik very accurately reflected this in her work destruction and rockfalls were a frequent occurrence. We are sure that it would not be an exaggeration to say that this map is another monument to Ernest Malinovsky from his compatriot and a fan of railways. We are extremely happy to learn such fascinating stories through the levels in the workshop and are happy to give @h2onik Steam gift card with a par value of 10. Bravo!
That's all we wanted to tell you today. We hope our winners inspire you to create levels or at least read Wikipedia :) Don't forget about our contest, friends. See you later!
