Hey players, while researching some oddities with gamepads, I stumbled upon this forum post: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/1354868867713562293/ In short, if your gamepad is mapping certain buttons to certain actions regardless of your in-game controller configuration (example: A = enter, right stick = mouse, etc), you can disable Steam's default controller mapping. To quote the thread linked above: "Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings. Uncheck all the boxes." I hope this helps! If it doesn't, let me know and I will keep digging.
