Introducing "Quizatars" for Asynchronous Online Play and More Questions
With today's patch we've added what we call "Quizatars" to the game, which allows playing online against other people even when they are not online at the same time. This works by tracking the answers of all players on our servers. For every Askutron player there is an online "Quizatar" (quiz avatar) that behaves just like them. When it encounters questions the player has already played, it will answer exactly like them. For new questions the player's category-specific accuracy is used to determine the answer. When you select the Online mode, these Quizatars will automatically join and fill up the game if there are not enough actual players online at the same time. Can beat the other players in the Askutron community? Find out!
We've added more than 150 new opinion questions to test how well you really know your friends!
As per usual we included a bunch of bugfixes. Also, the developer console that displays errors when they occur is now disabled by default. It has to be specificallly enabled by pressing F2 in order for it to show error messages.

Askutron is a trivia game for up to 8 players that can be played with gamepads and/or mobile devices featuring fully voiced questions.
Up to 8 players play with and against each other in different quiz rounds:
At the end of the game bonus awards are given to players, e.g. for the fastest answers or the most correct answers. Players can play online and submit their own quizzes and questions to be played by others.

- Blitz Quiz - only the fastest answer wins points
- Point Hunt - every right answer yields points (speed not important)
- Viewpoints - The players answer a survey and then have to guess the most popular answer among them.
- Cut the Cake! - Players are divided into two teams and fight for the biggest piece of cake (points)
- Finale - Players are assigned a position from 1 to 8 depending on their gathered points and have to answer questions to achieve a higher position.
