New Characters and Buzzers, and more
With the latest version of the game we added two new characters and 9 new buzzer sounds to the game! However, these won't be available from the start. Instead they have to be unlocked using "Stars" you gain for completing quiz rounds. The total number of stars earned is displayed below your character's name during the lobby phase. Characters and buzzers have to be unlocked for each player profile individually. Locked items are displayed with their "Star cost" like in the following image:
The mobile buzzer app has not been updated with the new characters and buzzers as of now, but will be in the following days.
Thanks to the feedback of user 'MASHED POTATOES' we changed the layout of the answer buttons to make them more intuitive. They are now aligned analogously to their actual positions on the gamepads.
There's much more to come in the next few weeks as we are working on finishing some new features including improvements to the online mode and new game modes.

Changed Answer Button Layout
Thanks to the feedback of user 'MASHED POTATOES' we changed the layout of the answer buttons to make them more intuitive. They are now aligned analogously to their actual positions on the gamepads.

There's much more to come in the next few weeks as we are working on finishing some new features including improvements to the online mode and new game modes.

Askutron is a trivia game for up to 8 players that can be played with gamepads and/or mobile devices featuring fully voiced questions.
Up to 8 players play with and against each other in different quiz rounds:
At the end of the game bonus awards are given to players, e.g. for the fastest answers or the most correct answers. Players can play online and submit their own quizzes and questions to be played by others.

- Blitz Quiz - only the fastest answer wins points
- Point Hunt - every right answer yields points (speed not important)
- Viewpoints - The players answer a survey and then have to guess the most popular answer among them.
- Cut the Cake! - Players are divided into two teams and fight for the biggest piece of cake (points)
- Finale - Players are assigned a position from 1 to 8 depending on their gathered points and have to answer questions to achieve a higher position.
