Enemies Friends Patch Notes

Hey Everyone! We hope you've been enjoying the latest update! We had a great time watching everyone check out the new stuff. We've got a bunch of bug fixes based on your feedback that address the most annoying issues with the latest update.

Patch Notes


  • Enemies will now pause when talking to other characters or collecting Explorer Medallions
  • Rolling into most enemy types now causes damage (be careful not to miss!)
  • The 100 coin Explorer Medallions no longer disappear if you die before collecting them
  • Fixed an issue where the SFX volume would randomly get set to zero
  • Adjusted difficulty of [spoiler]Snowball Scramble[/spoiler] challenge level
  • Made some adjustments to performance that (hopefully) reduce jitter on lower-end machines
  • Adjusted volume for some voices so they don't sound too loud / out of place
  • Reduced "falling death" cutscene duration from 3s to 1s
  • Fixed a few instances where enemies were floating above the ground
  • Fixed a teleport bug with ropes (sorry speedrunners!)
  • Fixed a few instances of missing or incorrect text
  • Fixed an issue with resetting the level while stuck in a [spoiler]snowball[/spoiler]
  • You can no longer get stuck in the well in [spoiler]Sinking Sands[/spoiler]
  • Coins are now paused during cutscenes
  • Resetting a non-challenge level now replays the level intro cutscene
  • Fixed an issue where events in the Sky were sometimes out of order
  • Fixed an issue that caused coins to get "stuck" on the player without being able to collect them
  • Fixed an issue where the black death screen could flicker
  • Fixed a bug where the game could be paused during fade transitions
  • Various minor UI adjustments

Poi is a 3D adventure platformer throwback to the 90's era of classic platforming games.

You'll explore large areas and smaller challenge levels in a search for explorer medallions. Getting those medallions won't be easy though, as you'll need to pull off classic 3D platforming feats in order to grab them. Run, jump, flip, bounce, balance, climb, slide, swim and more to collect them all for every level. Equip explorer tools, defeat enemies and meet new characters to unlock additional worlds to explore.

Pick between a rambunctious runaway boy or girl character as you embark on a challenging journey to uncover the many secrets scattered across the world of Poi.
