new location: Well of Souls - deep in the North, there is a place where Undead King previously ruled:
Souls Wellnew feature - exchange units in Deploy Turn - this is feature mostly for Open World battles which don’t have shop beforehand
balance: AOF2 and AOF3 will have slower experience earning ratio - this is due to introducing endless procedurally generated battles
new potion: Demon’s Blood Potion (+3 HP and +3 MP for Undead/Demons)
new items: Phantom Shield, Night Robe, Assassin’s Armour, Noble’s Cloak, Wizard’s Cloak, Ranger’s Cloak, Mirror Cloak, Souls Bell, Sea Weed
update: unit is added to Bestiary whenever is seen in battle. It’s important when deciding if unit can be evolved to higher unit type.
update: merchant discount also applies to items (but no treasure or potions)
new: Quick Start section in Modding Guide - it should help with setting up first Workshop Item
new: hint to fill-in your team in Shop
update: units portrait will indicate ensnared and entangled status
balance: tuning Open World (random) battles; player receives gold after random battle
bugfix: Lifedrain works when killing enemy
bugfix: AI will use all melee attacks when blocking enemy (and coming close)

Hi all,
After releasing procedurally generated battles, we are working on Global Events. Like community suggested, those will be either positive or choice-based.
We have almost to 50 of those already (there will be at least double that). You are all very welcome to suggest additional ones!

Age of Fear 3: The Legend is a refreshingly fun strategy title that marries a tabletop wargame with elements of RPG. The game features a huge variety of units, a novel hex-free battle system, morale and flexible multiplayer.
FEATURE LIST
- Two long scenarios - play as a beautiful dryad or a drunken dwarf lord in story driven campaigns!
- Hex-free battle system - units are no longer constrained to artificial grids. Unit's size matters too.
- Steam Workshop integration - create your own world and share with the community!
- Easy to Play but Hard to Master - Age of Fear is very easy to pick up but with deep and emergent strategy.
- Low hardware requirements - the game will even work on that old laptop of yours.
- Permanent death - all characters that fall in a battle will stay dead - unless an evil Necromancer raises them as Zombies!
- Diverse enemy roster - game features 160+ unique units with over 250 different spells and skills.
- AI behaviour is modelled on a neural network system and influence maps. Age of Fear has probably one of the most advanced strategic AI's ever created!
- Items and artifacts - there are over 100 unique items in Age of Fear, which are randomly distributed. Items not only give bonuses, but also unlock powerful skills and spells.
