After a long arduous process, this update contains noteworthy changes to the core functionality of both humans and animals. We have removed the previously used rag-doll system in favor of animated characters to aim for smoother fighting and movement. We will continue to make changes to this throughout the remainder of our Early Access period based on your feedback.

V0.3.0 is finally available!
After a long arduous process, this update contains noteworthy changes to the core functionality of both humans and animals. We have removed the previously used rag-doll system in favor of animated characters to aim for smoother fighting and movement. We will continue to make changes to this throughout the remainder of our Early Access period based on your feedback.
Early Access Update #3 Patch Notes
- Gameplay
- Effects have been added for all limb losses to clearly display when you hit an enemy
- A slow mo effect is now rewarded when decapitating animals and humans
- Most attack hit-boxes are now determined by a cubic area in front of the player, causing much more consistent attack landings
- Humans
- Item grabbing is now determined by your camera view
- Animations have stabilized the aiming of weapons, most notably with firearms
- Animals
- All animals have been given new animations with slight variations to their previous move-sets. Check them out and let us know what you think!
- Rhino
- The Rhino is a fast moving beast which can fire it's mighty horn as a projectile in the most dangerous of circumstances. This animal has the following moves:
- Body Slam - Sideways attack with great force
- Horn Shoot - Forward shooting projectile
- Charge - Gives Rhino great speed, Can attack while sprinting
- The Rhino is a fast moving beast which can fire it's mighty horn as a projectile in the most dangerous of circumstances. This animal has the following moves:
- Lion
- The Lion is an agile and scary animal, ready to attack at anytime, anywhere.
- Wall Climb - Can climb over many walls in the zoo
- Roar - Scares humans and animals alike into flying backwards
- Bite - Remove limbs with your strong powerful teeth
- The Lion is an agile and scary animal, ready to attack at anytime, anywhere.
- The north area of the zoo will feature a new Arctic Exhibit
- 3 new animals to play as
- A special area-themed mini game

Description
Zooicide is a casual team-based multiplayer game featuring animals fighting against humans within a playfully dangerous environment, the zoo.Current Features
- A zoo to explore, currently equipped with 4 different enclosures and more on the way!
- 4 different animals to play as, each with a different set of moves, with more to be added over time!
- Physics based animation to provide some of the most realistic animal movement modern gaming has to offer!
- Online Multiplayer up to 8 players in a match.
- Over 20 different items available to fight your way out, such as axes, RPGs and claymores!
- Available for PC, OS X, and Linux/Steam OS.
Gameplay
The main mode of Zooicide features a team of animals fighting against a team of humans. The humans must face the dangerous, enraged animals with a collection of different items to be able to escape this nightmare.MINIMAL SETUP
