And then somebody just has to pull a Leroy Jenkins and start the fun early.
Perry Hollycraft has been called out of "retirement" (i.e. the death plane known as the Dreamlands) in order to figure out what Old God did what, when, and why. The rest of the pantheon isn't too happy that the apocalypse has been called early. With Gods fighting among themselves in a bid to take advantage of the situation, and the rules thrown out the window, Perry has more than their work cut out for them. Who do you trust (your party members, probably)? Where do you turn (the available hub areas)? How many endings in this game actually differ from one another (we cut it down from twelve to five, but mileage may vary)? Do your choices matter (it depends on how you define "matter" in the context of a video game)? When will this structure of questions end (now)?
Will you save humanity in order to destroy it, or will you just plain save humanity?

Army of Tentacles 1's redo is about 50% complete. All of the side quests are finished. Brain fog is not helping my productivity, but I'm doing about two quests a day, plus a quest a day on Army of Tentacles 2.
I know I originally set the release date for February, and then March, but if they both are ready by the end of January, they might be both launching then.
Don't worry. I fully realize my workload as well as my current state of being/mind/health, so it might not happen.
Army of Tentacles 3 is a different story. It's a lot less restrictive than Army 1, both code-wise and VO-wise (because there is no VO). We thought about adding VO to the game, but ruled against it, as that would be money we need for Unicorns and Dinosaur Cousin Squad, and the game's plot relied on a lack of VO.
The biggest change to Army 3 is that we are cutting down the number of Arguments for a leaner, faster experience. With the DLCs, Army 3 has a whopping 70 Arguments to Army 1's, what, 20? I don't yet know how that is going to translate into quests yet. Some quests might be merged with others, I don't know yet. A lot of the Arguments were not even related to quests, and those may be the majority that go. Another feature that is going to take some busywork.... Army 3 has a large party, and it'll be interesting to see what skills change, what stay the same, and what have fun new uses.
