Hey all~ Our little indie studio, Ithaqua Labs, just released a new game to Steam! https://store.steampowered.com/app/817860/Perceptions_of_the_Dead_2/ It's a goofy, spooky story that follows a live-streamer in her search for a ghost hunter. It features a few familiar voices from the Book of Gray Magic series that you may recognize, as well as lovely music from Johnathan Johnson. With this game release, we hope to spend some time going back to Brilliant Shadows and Pale Spectrum and doing a bit of maintenance in the coming months, so stay tuned!

Updates: -Music normalized -Preferences updated -Textbox and font adjusted for easier reading -Sprites alignment tweaked, fixed -Updated a few sprites with new/fixed bug graphics -Changed the voice actor for two characters, credits adjusted -A few lines tweaked -Transitions smoothed, added

Added a cg to ending 1, fixed a continuity issue regarding the golem, and the D in Aelf's name which was bugging people.

Fixed another handful of typos, as well as a scene that wasn't linking properly with choices, which led to a bit of confusion.

Fixed a dozen or so typos in the game, as well as adjusted 2 lines that were affecting story flow. Also fixed an issue where the rose would bloom, unbloom, and bloom again in certain routes.
Brilliant Shadows is now officially launched! In the end it sits at 57,023 words, averaging at about 3-5 hours of game play. All spoken lines are voice acted, and there are 3 different endings based on what choices you pick, as well as a few larger branches within the story itself.
