Here's the list of changes in Angeldust v3.20:
"Icon" do this all day!
Angeldust v3.20 has a new vibrant, crisp and cheery icon. It's an homage to both our colorful community of heroes as well as the old icon. Enjoy this new piece of artwork on your desktop, quick launch bar and macOS Dock.
Where "art" thou?
Our amazing community made ten new in-game drawings and paintings, ranging from a poster promoting pet snacks, via colorful dustbunny-inspired drawings to detailed landscape paintings. Thanks to these artists contributing their work:
- Angelio
- fatih+
- Kanmaike
- Loki The Witful
- obi-
- Rob12
- Ruan4K
- Snowhiteprincess
- SodaMeow
Home is where the art is
Besides new drawings and painting you'll now have access to about a dozen more new decorations like window curtains, shutters and metal slabs. These so-called 'mimic-sticky' decorations stick to mimic blocks so you can make three-layered windows and other cool designs that were previously impossible.
Another trick is sticking these decorations on a bare mimic block. This will hide the mimic block to allow for free-standing designs. You can even makes these climbable using the thin mimic block.
Panda eats shoots and leaves
Angeldust v3.20 brings an improved 'leaves' object for the builder hero that you can use to design foliage. Available in ten contemporary colors you'll be creating beautiful trees and vegetation in no-time. Things will look absolutely spectacular and fluffy!
Better foliage has been a very long standing request, so have fun with this brand new toy.
Build freely
Speaking of objects and long-standing feature requestsyou can now
finally place trees and objects anywhere you'd be able to place a block. No more scaffolding, no more headaches. Just the freedom to build your dreams. Enjoy!
Everything seems to be in order
The friend order in your telecharger will now remain fixed while the menu is open. This prevents accidentally telecharging to the wrong friend when someone just came online. Upon opening the menu, online friends are now always listed at the top. A small, but great UI improvement for everyone.
Home alone
You can now play around with objects (like trees) in the 'Build alone' game mode. Finally! These behave identically to the online game mode, so you can experiment with different designs even when you're not able to play online.
Additional changes
- Fix UI texture glitches on broken GPU drivers (and Android emulators)
- Hide quest notice when in cinematic mode
- Increase visual size of 'flat block' icons
- No longer leak description text in world chat when claiming land
- Website forum posts can now be edited
