Hail to the twelve! We were able to carry through on a big promise of ours: Importing games from Blade of destiny HD. It was implemented and now imports your dear heroes from our predecessor. Other data is imported too, heroes below 1.450 XP will be upgraded to that value. The game doesn't have to be finished, but it must reside in the old savegame directory (Documents/BladeofDestiny/save). And there are other updates too:

General

Importing saved games from Blade of Destiny HD implemented
Buying prices of traders were increased in general, in exchange the value of herbs was decreased
A Mage's Rapier can now be used as a bane sword for certain rituals
An old acquaintance from Blade of Destiny HD makes an appearance
Torches and lanterns can now be ignited more comfortably
Probability for nightly ambushes was slightly increased
The new camp scene was straightened and rain was improved Die Lagerszene wurde "begradigt" und der Regen verbessert
Prevented losing Items when using "take all" from a container and all inventories are full
Standard-Startgroup was adapted to the new "dressable" Avatars

With helter skelter the broom now causes additional damage for every 5 combat rounds it is active
Sabretoothtigers and lions were strengthened
Ogre Catcher now has a barb effect
Crowbars, picks and shovels can now be used as improvised weapons
Added a Saurian Axe
Fixed a problem loading battles while traveling

Dungeons and Cities

Improved the socket puzzle in the Vault
You can now cast an Analyze spell on the Swamp Rantzy
If you take the Swamp Rantzy as far as Lowangen, you are now offered an option to turn around
Ansvell can be explored
Two wells are now actually usable in the swamp
Increased uncovering distance of the minimap in the swamp
Approaching the peat cutter hut was improved
The witch's loot was improved
The crystal ball of the swamp mage is now sellable

The united orc tribes attempted to invade the region of Thorwal, but a group of valiant adventurers thwarted their plans during their previous quest. Now the orcs have regrouped and attacked other, more vulnerable areas – Lowangen is occupied and half the Svellt Valley lies in ashes. An elf ambassador summons the party to the city of Kvirasim. To unite the races of the elves and the dwarves in the struggle against a common enemy, they must recover an artifact known as the Salamander Stone.

Yet not all is as simple as it seems: As the party approaches an abandoned dwarven mine that may hold the answers to their questions, someone else makes it clear that not everyone in the country favors a cooperation between the two races.

Star Trail is a faithful remake of Realms of Arkania’s classic sequel. This hardcore RPG features dozens of talents and spells, distinct races and character classes as well as a challenging isometric turn-based combat system. Obey your orders and succeed in your quest to retrieve the Salamander stone – the peace between elves and dwarves depends on it!
