We regret to announce that Valiant Interactive is now in the process of closing down, and as a result there will be no further development of Gyrodisc Super League. The game has been almost entirely self funded, and whilst we’d hoped that early access sales would give us the resources we needed to finish work on it, sales just haven’t come close to what we need to cover the costs of living and maintaining the company, and attempts to find alternative sources of funding sadly haven’t worked out. Before Valiant Interactive closes its doors for the last time, we’d like to say a huge thank you to those of you who saw what Gyrodisc might have become and chose to back us by buying an early access copy on Steam. Our biggest regret is that we couldn’t get the job done for you. Thanks also to the steam community and everyone who’s supported us over the years, either here on the forums or by turning out to tournaments and events to play the game in person. The experience of enjoying a game (or five) with so many enthusiastic and friendly players has been a great privilege for us, and those memories will stay with us for years to come. It’s been a remarkable journey and we’re sorry it hasn’t ended the way we hoped.
