Our first Lucky Break: Dating in New York demo was outdated and didn\'t reflect the quality of the final game. To fix that, we\'re releasing a new demo featuring Ellie, a barista from New York.
This demo includes many of the features you can expect in the full game: stunning AI-generated videos, choosing your character background and name, using skills, spending money on dates, and powering up between dates!
We\'re also excited to announce official support for Japanese and Korean. The demo is fully translated into every supported language, including voice-over.

Note: the game does not support lip-sync. Unfortunately, it\'s too complex to implement.

Development on Lucky Break: Dating in New York is moving full steam ahead, and we remain on track for a Q1 2026 release.
Scripts for 7 out of 9 dates are now complete, and we are finalizing the video production for the first date of one of the characters. We are using AI video generation to bring these scenes to life. While it saves us from needing a film crew, it is still a long process to carefully craft the experience we are aiming for. We are excited to show you some of our results soon; it is a great improvement over the publicly available demo we have right now.

We are also excited to reveal the game\'s RPG System. At the start, you will define your character\'s background, which determines your starting resources and abilities. Will you prioritize cash as a Construction Worker, or start with an edge in skills as a Personal Trainer (Strength) or Sales Associate (Charisma)?
Balancing your life is crucial. You need Money to afford dates, while Strength and Charisma unlock unique dialogue options and influence how dates react to you. Between dates, you\'ll decide how to grow: do you pick up extra shifts to fill your wallet, or spend time self-improving to max out your stats?
