Game
Fiction Paradox is a narrative-driven adult visual novel. You play as a young adult disillusioned with society, and who has lost all motivation to keep going… until an unexpected meeting makes them reconsider the course of their life.
The story is completely linear: the choices you can make don’t affect major events, but rather shape the type of relationship you have with each character. In the end, in this gloomy world, what’s truly important is the bonds you’re able to develop.

Characters

Diana is the kind of person who loves deeply and selflessly, always putting others first. Her kindness and devotion radiate an irresistible warmth, but she rarely has time for her own dreams. Will you be the one to truly connect with her heart? 👀

Lu knows no fear: she's bold, direct, intrepid, and disciplined. Always ready for any adventure! Her great intuition makes her distrustful of people in such a dark world; very few ever get into her inner circle. Will you be the one to uncover her softer side behind that impenetrable armor? 💗

⭐Tashia⭐ is very passionate. This streamer, singer, and actress captivates audiences with her magnetic presence. She loves being the center of attention! Never stops! However, with so much money and life experiences, it's hard to surprise her. Will you be the one to catch her eye? ✨

World
In 2029, when the world was on the brink of collapse, a group of governments, corporations and scientists launched the Verona Project: an experimental city built in a remote corner of the planet, with the goal of demonstrating that humanity could still reinvent itself and live without causing its own demise.
But this only proved that such a dream wasn’t doable on a large scale. The project was called off and the city was divided into three sectors: the Center, a technological utopia for the elites; the Traditional Districts, meant to be a copy of other parts of the world; and the Periphery, the city’s economic engine where everything is up for sale.
So in the end, Verona stopped being an experiment to save humanity and turned into an extreme reflection of its contradictions.
Your adventure will start here!

Support us
Hello! We’re Naventu, and we need your support to keep developing Fiction Paradox now more than ever. We’ve been working full-time on this project for a whole year and we’d love to see all of our ideas come to life.
For instance, introducing male versions of the love interests is one of our top priorities, as we strive to diversify our cast for a broader audience to enjoy ;) The story will remain identical to the already existing one, only the intimate scenes would differ.
As of now, there’s only three of us at the studio and we’re firmly against using generative AI to create art, so we need to grow in order to achieve our goals. We’d really like to allocate more resources to the creation of custom assets and even hiring a voice acting team in the future.
We’re experienced in working alongside other professionals, as our soundtrack has been entirely commissioned. We aim to collaborate with and support fellow artists while expanding the project’s horizons in the process.
If you’d wish to help us make a fully-fledged game out of Fiction Paradox, you can add it to your wishlist so you’ll get notified when the first chapter launches. An exciting journey is awaiting you, don’t miss it out!
Thank you for joining us in our adventure!
Hello, everyone. Were working hard to make ourselves known while we polish the final details of our game, so we thought it would be interesting to introduce the members of Naventus team and let you ask us some questions. ^_^
\n
Starting with our game director, Dakno! His main roles are writing and programming, but he is in charge of planning and supervising everything, including art, music and translations. He brings the story of Fiction Paradox to life, as he writes all the dialogues and handles the technical side of the game mechanics and user interface. He has also searched for almost all of the sound effects of this chapter.
\n
Then, we have En, the main artist behind the renders and most design elements. This includes the interface, Fiction Paradox and Naventus logos, the title screen and all the promotional images - basically, the visual identity (color palette, font selection, etc) of the project has been conceived by En from scratch.
\n
And lastly, we have Lumen. Since she was the last to join Naventu, she has rendered a much smaller share of still frames, but shes the only 3D animator. She also doubles as a designer, having worked on the icons, interface and renders of the gallery and character profiles.
\n
You may be wondering why we dont have certain important roles established, such as character designer, storyboard artist or community manager. As a small team, theres a lot of overlap between our tasks, so the final product is usually an amalgamation of our combined skills.
\n
We hope this has cleared up some questions you might have had about Naventu, or maybe sparked some curiosity to see more from us! Wed like to talk about our work process someday, so expect more posts like this in the future. In the meantime, we invite you to ask us anything on this post! :)
