Hi,\n\nThere were some issues with missing animations on linux and mac clients that were now properly incorporated. It wasn\'t the easiest to see due to it beeing so late in the release content but it was finally discovered, this has required me to rebuild the video library and therefor the very large update. It\'s pretty significant though. the main menu animation is now working properly as well as all the missing animations in the last day or two of scenes. I recommend that if you have played through the game you revist the scenes with the replay menu or from a previous save. \n\nI\'m sorry I missed this. It\'s due to a new system we only used in one previous release during development and therefore it wasn\'t in the usual routine to recompile all the animation libraries. I thought that it updated this library for each and every build (Windows, Mac and Linux) however they had to be updated individually.\n\nNow all verisons have the same video library.\n\nThanks a lot and i\'m sorry for the trouble, I learned a new thing or two today :) \n\nBest Regards & Huge thanks for your support and patience!\n\nAesouh, Motkeyz Games
Hi Linux users! Thank you for your continued support and patience!\n\nThe linux client has been fixed and deployed! There are some major overhauls under the hood, just like the mac update, new steam API, new libwebp library (that was crashing the images showing the white screen with redist missing mesage) and some other pathing thing. Faster, newer and better than before!\n\nNext on the agenda is some scene corrections. I\'m glad all the clients are stable and running now, hopefully all the kinks will be sorted out soon!\n\nKind Regards\n\nAesouh, Motkeyz Games
Hi! Thanks everyone for your continued support and engaging with us!\n\nAfter many more hours of working, and replacing and updating a bunch of external libraries, the savimg and loading is now working as intended. As an added bonus with all the upgrades and rewrites it\'s now a Mac Universal build, meaning that it comes with launchers for both Intel and ARM / Apple Silicon.\n\nThanks a lot and sorry for the delays! \n\nBecause of the outdated library for the linux client I will also deploy a new version for Linux, however it will require some more testing before that\'s ready! Thank you for your patience!\n\nThere are some dialogue additions and changes that will come in, due to a missing scene soon enough, but had to fix these critical issues first. Thanks for your understanding!\n\nBest Regards\nAesouh, Motkeyz Games
Hi again, thanks everyone for your continued support and your heartwarming reviews!\n\nOkay so this has been a bit of a doozy but after much investigation a secondary problem is related to the whole steam integration API for Mac that was turned obsolete at some point (Works in chapter 1!). So i have redone the entire steam integration. Right now this is only deployed to Mac version, cause it\'s a huge overhaul of both all the file paths to be universally compliant on all platforms as well as the latest steamworks integration library.\n\nI truly hope that this fixed it for you, if not, let us know here!\n\nBest Regards\nAesouh, Motkeyz Games\n\n
Good evening! \n\nBeen working on this tierlessly for several hours to bring you an update ASAP on the Mac saving/loading issues. I hope this really does fix the issue that some if not most Mac users are having.\n\nThe Mac client has been patched with some pretty fundamental code changes. I had to touch on every key aspect of how the game client handles files. (Save files, translations, images, galleries) i. This of course can open up unforseen issues and I don\'t have the means to test it with my outdated test macbook. Please, if you are a mac user, let me know how it works for you in this post, and I will make sure to continue working on a resolution tomorrow if this didn\'t solve it. However from what I understand I\'ve done everything right. \n\nThank you for your patience and thank you for your support!\n\nRest assured, Mac and Linux users are not forgotten :)\n\nBest regards\nAesouh, Motkeyz Games\n\n
Hi! Thanks a lot for your support and patience! We\'re super happy to finally have the game out, of course there are some bugs that get discovered as so many are playing, and some that we discover ourselves so here\'s a patch to fix what we\'ve seen so far!\n\nThis patch fixes:\n\n-Text-over-animation problems getting \"stuck\" for some\n-Text-over-animation not transitioning correctly sometimes like smiling and idling\n-Previous library issue now fixed in the code in addition to the minor patch earlier.\n-Loading games on Mac (Maveric and later had issues, hopefully it works now, let me know!)\n-Maureen Poolside & Nika Cheerleader Menu anims work again,\n-Added some missing music in a scene.\n-Small text addition in the final scene.\n-Some typo corrections\n\nPlease let us know how it goes with saving/loading on mac now, because we dont have a maverick device to test on ourselves, my test station is older than that sadly.\n\nThere is still a known issue about a scene not triggering with John, and we will work that one out, but in the meantime here comes this patch.\n\nI will also work on deploying an update to chapter 1 to include some of these fixes.\n\nBest regards\nAesouh, Motkeyz Games
There was a critical problem with getting stuck in the game when in the library, this has now been corrected but you have to replay the scene before in Dean's Office.
Thank you for your patience!
