TO BE CLEAR: YOU NEED TO BE SOMEWHAT FAMILIAR WITH HOW PROGRAMMING WORKS IN ORDER TO ENJOY THIS GAME.
1-DC is an open-ended programming puzzle game (a "zach-like"), featuring a fictional low-level programming language. There are only three base commands; the rest depends on the commands' parameters (somewhat like SIC-1). This challenges the player to think in abstract and minimal terms.
How can you calculate a sine wave with only two variables? That's up to you to figure out.
Features:
32 base levels;
16 bonus levels, featuring negative numbers and a third variable slot;
A commands par in each level that you can optimize for;
12 achievements, ranging from tedious to confusing;
A simple level editor, with more variable slots and a greater range of values
Voicelogs left by your boss, to inform you about his search for your missing wife.
