[February 3rd 2025] IMPROVEMENTS - Redesigned the battle interface. - You can now click on the timeline portraits to target a tulpa. - Made it more clear that "Capture" happens on the trainer's turn. - Improved the glow effect on tulpas' eyes. - Improved ALL tulpa textures (lineart, colors, shading. Everything is better). - Improved ALL battle animations. - Made controller support in battle slightly less finicky. - Improved the screenshot function (Tulpas appear more as they do in-game when you save to PNG). - Added an insect-type background (Thanks to Gij). - Added a water-type background (Thanks to Gij). - Improved how elemental backgrounds render to be less pixelated at low resolutions. - Made some battle arenas bigger so it doesn't look like the trainer is perpetually balancing on the edge. - Hovering the mouse over a portrait during battle will highlight that tulpa. - The first tulpa you catch in the tutorial is automatically set as your follower. BUG FIXES - You can look at tulpas' stats while in aiming mode. - Improved how reliable it is to load unknown or impossible tulpas and renders a question mark instead. - Fixed an uncommon bug where some monsters would glow as if they were being captured in the overworld. - Removed a lot of Z-fighting in battle (The floor grid would flicker sometimes). - Fixed a bug where tulpas would take 1 frame to rotate toward the camera during battle animations. These issues were considered not large enough to prevent an update and will be fixed next patch. KNOWN ISSUES - Catching has a 100% chance of succeeding regardless of a tulpa's health. - You cannot view a tulpa's health except on its own turn. - Turned off all barking sounds while I work on better sound effects (Only affects Empurr and Woolectric). - The wind, light and psychic backgrounds are still placeholder textures.
