Previously, we asked you which weapon youd like to see in the Anomaly President, and from the feedback we received, we decided that Kusarigama would be a perfect fit! Currently, we have four melee weapons in the game: Sword, Staff, Fists, and Kusarigama. By the time we launch Early Access, we plan to increase this number to eight. Each weapon has its own unique attacks. Our goal is to make every weapon we add to the game excel in different areas. For example, the Kusarigama is great for crowd control, making it easier to handle groups of enemies compared to other weapons. Its extended reach is especially helpful when you want to keep enemies at a distance. However, if were talking one-on-one combat, the Kusarigama can feel a bit sluggish. But dont worryyou can carry two different weapons at the same time in the game. You can control a crowd with the Kusarigama and then switch to your sword for close combat. Which two weapons you use will be entirely up to the player! Of course, weapons arent the only way to take on enemies. At least 20 different anomaly powers will be available in the game. Youll be able to develop these powers to suit your playstyle, adding elemental damage to take them to the next level. For instance, the dual-directional shooting ability briefly shown in the video is an anomaly power in the Range Weapon Attack category. Powers like this, and many more, will accompany you throughout the game. And then theres our Fluffy army, which we havent even shown yet! These adorable Fluffies will assist us in battle and amplify our power in fantastical ways. The idea came to us to create an additional mode for the game. We wanted to prepare a challenge mode that players who love the game and enjoy playing it could enter repeatedly and try out. Initially, this challenge mode was going to be about defeating waves of enemies in a simple manner. However, we decided to add some roguelike elements to make it more engaging and take it to a more enjoyable level. In the end, you won't see entirely new things, but you'll notice that the existing elements of the game are presented in a different way. We hope it's a mod you'll enjoy playing. If you haven't deleted your game progress after opening all the chests, the achievement should unlock when you enter the game after the update.
