New Features: Create World Settings Expanded - Day/Night Cycle Control: Players can now customize the full length of day/night cycles to suit their preferred gameplay pace - Daylight Duration: Fine-tune the length of daytime, allowing for extended daylight periods or longer, more challenging nights - Food Restoration Options: Adjust hunger mechanics with new settings for half or double the standard food restoration values Bug Fixes: - Streamed Block Destruction: Resolved an issue where certain streamed blocks were not being properly destroyed when removed - Wand Projectile Physics: Fixed wands incorrectly shooting projectiles through single-layer blocks - Insanity System Balance: Corrected overly aggressive insanity progression that caused hallucinations within seconds of darkness or hunger exposure - now provides a more balanced psychological challenge - Town Pot Regeneration: Fixed daily regeneration of town pots that was unintentionally resetting container contents
Create World Settings: -You can now set if inventory, or toolbar drops on death or neither or both. -Insanity can now be turned off on Create World, or the Worst effects of it can be turned off. *These were put in from the feedback I've been receiving. New Darkness Mechanics: Night brings new challenges as darkness now actively impacts gameplay. Combat the shadows by placing torches and lighting fireplaces to illuminate your surroundings. Content Expansion: Two additional levels (11 and 12) are now available for exploration, bringing fresh challenges and discoveries. Ice Wand Introduction: Discover the powerful Ice Wand in the new levels. This magical weapon can freeze enemies and significantly reduce their movement speed, giving you a tactical advantage in combat. Sanity System: A new psychological element adds depth to survival gameplay. Major Content Update This update brings exciting new features and improvements to enhance your gameplay experience: Base Building & Crafting Enhancements Introducing the Hammer Tool, allowing you to rebuild and upgrade both wooden and iron walls with ease Craft decorative accessories to display on your base walls and create custom carpets to personalize your space New Dye Maker and Loom workstations unlock advanced crafting possibilities Gather flowers throughout the world to create vibrant dyes for your creations Exploration & Discovery Discover 15 brand new secret rooms hidden throughout the world, similar to dungeon levels These optional areas offer additional challenges, and some contain valuable schematics for dedicated explorers Level 10 now features an entirely different boss encounter for a fresh challenge Dungeon Improvements Dungeon room layouts now generate with increased randomization, ensuring more varied exploration experiences Dungeon Keys can now be crafted or purchased in town after day 21, giving players more flexibility in accessing locked areas
This update contains: -Level 10 Dungeon has now been added. -Stone Hoe Tool: Used for removing misplaced flooring. -Access to craft Keys. -Rebalance of level difficulty.
This update contains: Create World Screen: New world creation options including Permadeath mode (permanently deletes save file when enabled), Overworld Monster Spawn Limit, Crafting Experience Multiplier, and Radar Detection toggle. Smart Radar System: Radar now blinks when you're near the next sequential dungeon level you haven't completed. For example, if you've beaten levels 1, 2, and 5, it will only detect level 3. Load Game Screen: Load existing worlds or permanently delete saved games. Instruction Page: Added detailed keyboard and controller layout guides. Updated Wood Door Graphics: Improved visual design for wooden doors. Randomized Level Placement: Dungeon levels 3-9 now have randomized locations, with lower-numbered levels positioned closer to town.
The following fixes have been put in: -Town and Base Blocks have been changed so the player will no longer randomly get stuck walking between them. (Wasn't common, but it's fixed) -Fixed the Load Game button with more funny sayings and made them random. -Fixed a bug, where the daytime tick started before the load Game was complete. -Made the Intro Skeletons on the overworld run slower when they see you. -Fixed the Monster Spawner on the Overworld to make monsters further away when spawning. Appreciate all of the feedback, I've received. Still more to come, but that's all of the bugs I'm aware of.
The following fixes have been put in. -Xbox Left Direction Stick has been fixed. DPad and Keyboard still work good too. -Dungeon Level Doors are much easier to walk thru. -Moved Level 9 to be around Level 8 instead of Level 2. Appreciate the Review Feedback, which has helped me update these changes.
With this new update:
- Dungeon Level 9 has been added and with it, Iron Walls, Spikes and Doors.
- New Graphics have been added for Three of the prior bosses.
- New Monsters have been added as well.
- Wands and other unlimited use items now won't drop on death.
The following updates have been put into place: - A Radar has been added to show where our homepoint is at all times on the overworld. - Mouse support has been added to the main menu and game options. (Gamepad and Keyboard still full access) - A new dungeon level has been added, with a new schematic to find.
