There was an issue with a plugin we were using (the one we animated the Commanders!) so for the time being, I've removed the animation for them
but
(and soon we will have a native Linux version as well) Our animator is already hard working on re-doing the animations in a new software, so wait for an update soon!
On other news:

Quick update for 1.0.8!
[hr][/hr]Fixed an issue when playing multiplayer, where after ending a match, going back to the player selection screen would not work for player 2;
Pressing RMB / B on Non-Attacking units to open the "End Turn" Card would not work. This is fixed;
Tried a fix for SteamDeck Users. Please try to see if works!;
Old "Starter Kit" map renamed for "Avante Wars";
New Map "Starter Kit" with only basic units;
Added new info in the gallery: Jobs for the rest of the commanders;
Sometime dice would collide and fly out of the screen. Tried a fix for that;
Added a new silhouette on the Gallery for the Opal Sharks!;
Sometimes the game would launch with a fatal error and no log; Tried a fix for that (both steamdeck and pc);

Hovers are able to move through water! But still can't cross mountains...
Hovers have the same power as a Flame/Hunter/Inferno, but has a weaker armor (same as GP/Spider/Missiles)

Steam Deck users have a "Fatal Error" that don't allow to play the game;
There is a small chance of menus disappearing when changing cameras in the main menu. (forcing you to quit the game). I haven't figured it out this one yet;
Being able to move card options with keyboard;
Settings menu cannot be tweaked with controllers;
Some users have reported that the cursor/mouse are misaligned (mainly when playing fullscreen);

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who played the demo, for all the feedback and love sent. I've been developing Avante! Atlantis solo for about 1 year now. When I mean solo, I mean I do 90% of the project, while the others 10% I have help from friends and freelancers, so I want to publicly thank all the people who have helped me:

The battle for Atlantis is unlike any conflict the world has seen. This isnt a war of strength - its a clash of brilliant minds. Only the sharpest strategists from each nation have been chosen. Here, victory belongs not to the strongest, but to the smartest.
Vihaan and the next strategists will not be available to play on the demo, but will be on the Gallery!

Red: 1/20 chance of a 25
Orange: 1/15 chance of a 25

Green: 1/6 chance of a 25 (will shiny if you hit!)
Also the Strategists Cards on battle now have movement!
Just something for now while we make the playable version
Based on feedback from the community;
Accessible only during battles, from the pause menu;
Cacti Forest and Mirage on Desert;
Mirage on Desert was just a small update to make the map more dynamic;
Cacti Forest was redesigned to be smaller;
Tutorial texts can now be skipped with LMB, instead of just spacebar;
Fixed a small issue when you would kill a unit, but would receive at least 1 damage back;
Settings menu can't be navigated with controllers. We are solving this issue as fast as we can;
There is a small chance of menus disappearing when changing cameras in the main menu. (forcing you to quit the game). I wasn't able to reproduce it, but if someone did and record it, would be great!

Avante! Atlantis demo is out now! Go play it, and if possible let me know yours thought on the demo! Any feedback/reviews are appreciated! The demo currently has:
Single Player and Multiplayer (vs Computer / vs Friends Local and via Steam Remote Play Together);
Story Mode Synopsis and Gallery for more Avante! Atlantis Lore;
3 Nations to play with: Garnet Eagles, Sapphire Lions and Jade Foxes;
3 Strategists: Gen Armstrong, Amara and Reiko, each one with it's own special;
Playable with Keyboard/Mouse or with a Controller (Multiplayer only with controller for now! Trying to find a way);
6 Maps. 3 with Pre-Deployed Units and 3 with deployment/funds available;
1 Playable Tutorial (Basic Movement);
Portuguese-Brazil Translation;
In the following days/weeks/months, I'll update the demo with the following:
Complete Playable Tutorials ( Battle, Powers, Special Tiles);
In the meantime, I'm preparing a written tutorial as well;
Missing Units: (Drill, Magnet, Ballistic, Mega, Hover, Transport, Ram);
+ 3 Maps to account for the new units;
Updated Strategists Arts and Animations;

Hello everyone! I've made a small decision to remove the demo from now from Steam, due it's not representing the current state of the game. In the following month, my goal is to produce a new demo which would be the "almost" definite one. My goal in the demo is to include:

Just wanted to keep you updated on how development on Avante! Atlantis is going.
During January, I've been researching and trying to set up in stone some things.
And here are they:
- I'll do my best to finish the game without story mode by the end of this year;
- There will be Multiplayer Local and Online, plus Single Player (Player vs Computer);
- Ideally we will have a map creator, but I'm leaving that for last;
- There will be a total of 8 Commanders, based on 8 Nations (which are Work in Progress);
- There will be a total of 20 Units. Naval and Air Units were removed due time constrains (but nothing stops me to add them in a later update or DLC);
On the World:
- There will be 8 teams/nations: Ruby Jaguars, Garnet Eagles, Jade Foxes, Opal Sharks, Sapphire Lions,
Amethyst Tigers, Spinel Cobras and Obsidian Ravens;
- Here's a world map of the game. This will be more used on the Story Mode!
On the Commanders:
- I'm still writing them, but we already have 1 totally defined and with art!
Meet Thaddeus Armstrong, General of the Army of the Garnet Eagles!
Ruthless, he will do anything to achieve his goal!
On the Units:
- There game will feature this units, and this is the damage/defense chart of it, where: Dark Red is Useless, Red is Worst, Oragen is Bad, Yellow is Moderated (50%+-), Green is Good, Blue is Awesome and Pink is Overkill against it.
- Some of this arts are Placeholders, so don't worry about it

There has been a small update on both Demo and Early Access version!
EA/Demo 1.0.2 Update:
Big Updates:
- Removed the Desert Map, and replaced for a new map;
- Added the ARV Unit (only on the new map). Good on movement! But it can be obliterated by tanks and bazookas;
- Added a small pop-up display to show the amount of damage you will give and receive back;
Other Updates:
- Fixed a game crashing bug when the battle would crash if you destroyed a unit before it could attack;
- Translations update;
- Made the Dice Roll show the number slightly faster;
- Made units die/explode in battle instead of just dying;

Hello Everyone! Wanted to let you know that the demo is finally live with a small update patch! Demo 1.0.1 Update: -Added Shared Keyboard option. This will allow users to play using the same keyboard/mouse, even when using Remote Steam Play. Throwing the dice will become the press of a button in that situation. (this is valid for sharing same controller as well!); -Wrapped some texts to fit in the screen on some languages; -Pause Menu can show be exit by pressing ESC or Pause Button on the Controller; -Sometime when using the controller DPAD and Thumbstick, the cursor might become misaligned. I've updated the code so now DPADs and Thumbstick use the same code; -Ukrainian/French Localization Updates; -Fixed error when health keeps disappearing after battles. Now health is always shown, but you can toggle off if you wish during your turn; -Added a small text when changing turns, to show what turn you are on (Starts at Turn 1); -Reduced timer for Dice to show the number (from 5s to 4s); -Made dice "collision" effect happens more often; -Added variable to your save file about selected language, so you don't need to keep selecting the language every time you open the game! (The Welcome Screen will still show up); Submitting this game demo was a personal achievement for myself, so I'd love to hear from you! So if you liked the demo, please consider writing a review! Hello Everyone! I wanted to inform that the Demo for the Early Access of Avante! Atlantis will be release on the 29/11/2024! Initially, the demo will contain: - 2-Player Games only. There will be no AI/Computer opponent at this stage; - Controller Only gameplay. I'm also working to see how I can implement keyboard gameplay with 2 local players; - Local Play and Remote Play Together only . Play via internet with other will come in a later update; - Localization: Only English. But I'll be working to add Portuguese-Brazil, Spanish, French and Japanese ASAP; - 3 Maps; - 3 Unit Types (Infantry, Bazooka and Tank); - 2 ways of winning: Defeating all Units or Reaching the opponent HQ; - Settings: Window Mode, Resolution, BGM/SFX/UI Sound Volumes; - Accessibility: Color-blind Settings; ----- This demo purpose is to bring the gameplay to be available to all and to get feedback. After couple of weeks, I pretend to release the Early Access version, in which I'll keep updating with new maps, units, gameplay, etc... as we progress. The demo will later be update to reflect new mechanics/graphics/gameplay. I really hope everyone has a chance of playing Avante! Atlantis. Hello everyone! I'm Danilo, the solo-dev for Avante! Atlantis. Thanks for all the amazing support that everyone gave me through the social medias. This is finally a dream come true for me. Now let's talk game. For this updates, I'll try my best to keep updates here weekly. I have everything planned for this game so development should go smooth. Soon we will have our first build of the game, which will feature the following things: - 2 Local Multiplayer Only (aka Couch Co-op), which can be played with Remote Play Together; - 3 Maps: 2 Plains and 1 Desert biome; - 2 Teams: Red and Blue; - Predefined Units on Maps (No spawning new units for now); - Units: Basic Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Tank, Supply Truck, and Truck - Basic Settings (e.g.: Mouse Sensitivity, Screen size, etc..); - Basic Tutorial before a match; - Basic SFX and BGM; - Basic Combat iteration; This will be the first of many updates of the early access stage of Avante! Atlantis. My goal is to test with you guys the basic gameplay and balancing of units/terrain and multiplayer. As an extra, here is a couple of things I have planned for future updates: - Air and Naval Units; - New terrain tiles (water, river, canyon...); - More maps; - Online PvP (based on P2P connection for now); - and more!
