SUPER SHAPESHOOTER is a fast-paced, top-down, stylized survival action game. Take on relentless waves of enemy shapes as you fight for your survival. Save up your credits, make risky choices, and construct the perfect build to make your way through to the end.
Gameplay
Run-Length - A full run takes around 20 minutes.
Unlocks - New items have to be unlocked by completing unique challenges.
Dual-Wield - Wield two weapons at once, combining different firing patterns and weapon types.
Shop - Spend your hard earned credits between waves to buy new weapons, trinkets and abilities.
Wager - You decide how difficult a wave will be.
Abilities - Use powerful abilities ranging from screen-clearing explosions to companion turrets.
Trinkets - Buy and equip unique trinkets which provide stat boosts, special abilities or game-changing modifiers.

The First Month
It has now been 1 month since SUPER SHAPESHOOTER has been released into early access. As of last Friday we have reached the most important milestone a no-name developer like me could ask for which is getting 10 positive steam reviews!
Now that I have that blue little review stamp of approval on my page the game is getting a little more traffic and attention which is nice so thank you to everyone who has bought and reviewed the game :)
What\'s Next
I\'m currently in the middle of working on the 0.4.0a patch which is the next major patch for the game. The new patch will contain some new items and a whole new mechanic known as \"Challenge Waves\".
Challenge Waves are optional bonus waves that give players a chance to earn extra credits by completing waves with special conditions and restrictions. They\'re designed to reward skilled play and push players out of their comfort zones. The neat thing is, dying in a challenge wave DOES NOT END YOUR RUN. The only thing on the line are your hard earned credits.
Some examples of challenge waves are:
Pacifist - Your weapons and abilities are disabled, kill enemies by kiting them into explosive gates.
[/*]Follow The Zone - Stay within a constantly moving zone to capture it while also fighting off waves of enemies.
[/*]Bomb Rush - Survive a wave made up entirely of bombers.

I\'m planning on having at least 5-10 different challenge waves in this first iteration of this mechanic and there will be more challenges added with each subsequent major patch.
This patch should be out in the first week of February 2026!
