This small update is to help gather another data point in which we had some questions about. This is to help inform some of the design changes/decisions going into Radiant Mode. We are aware of the heavy CPU/GPU load issues that is affecting some of the players. We are working on it, but to get a full solution and ensure it's solid it will take us a few weeks to resolve. If you have been adversely affected by the latest build, and have seen your machine run the game worse, we recommend you roll back to the pre_controller_support BETA that we have made public. You can access it by right clicking on Darkest Dungeon, selecting Properties, then checking the BETAs tab.

Darkest Dungeon is a challenging gothic roguelike turn-based RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring.

Recruit, train, and lead a team of flawed heroes through twisted forests, forgotten warrens, ruined crypts, and beyond. You'll battle not only unimaginable foes, but stress, famine, disease, and the ever-encroaching dark. Uncover strange mysteries, and pit the heroes against an array of fearsome monsters with an innovative strategic turn-based combat system.
