How to play
Use the Mouse, Keyboard or Gamepad to change the position of the SpaceWipe Defender. Bounce the balls to hit the bricks and destroy them. Press and hold Fire when bouncing a single ball to spinn it. Select can change setting betwen left and right spinn. Rockets, Plasma gun and the Gravity Beam. Each time you fail to protect the city from the Mad Cow Balls you lose one life.The Graphics
The first time the game is run it will test how fast it can render the graphics and set a graphic setting. The graphic setting can also be changed in the option menu and lowered by the debug mode.The level Generator
There are 12 different playfields with a maximum of 555 points grid. A filter are applied depending on how many levels you have finished in that game. Next the 145 different kinds of bricks are speard out over the grid.The upgrades
As you finish a level you will gain a skillpoint that can be used to unlock power ups and upgrades. Unlocking a different kind of ball will make it possible for that specific power up to spawn when a brick is destroyed. For each 10.000 points earned in a single level there will be a bonus skillpoint (Get the multi bonuses). Playing the game on a high difficulty will also add skillpoints before the first level.With no upgrades the game works nearly as old classics but it can easily be changed by the player with the upgrades. This may change the game from casual to more of a action shooter.
Cow progress
Spin the ball, collect multi bonuses, destroy robots and complete other tasks to unlock all 8 difficulty levels and secret option menus.After additional testing i have discovered that the boss could get too hard at high levels. I have tried out a few changes and settled for higher direct hit damage from the balls and a more effective self destruction. The player will now get a greater reward for killing the boss (+1 skillpoint and +1 life, if not the boss part is the last brick on the level).
I have also added icons displaying what bonus the players recently have picked up and what action the boss is doing. The bonus icon is mainly to help new players to discover what bonus actually killed them or made half the level explode.

Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue were SpaceWipe and its defender could get transperant as if you would have been hit by a stun weapon when it actually didnt happened (This bug was rare and i have seen it before but this time i figured out what was wrong).
Patch 3.0 Boss update
The Boss and Bossrun is finaly here. The boss is scaling with completed levels and created using random algoritms. Kill the Boss to clear the level.Boss propteries
The boss is created in 1 to 10 chunks of 9 bricks. The Boss parts will support each other.Boss brick types

A few new bricks have been added including the stun turret and charging bricks. Diamond levels have been updated and i have moved some code behind functions to make the game use less resurces.

Patch 2.8 contains a few ball upgrades including Hit Power and slow down near the city. I have also looked into how to reduce the loading time of the levels and added some glow to the balls and the City.
The game levels will load faster and high end graphical settings demand more of the GPU (shaders).

MadCowBalls2 now have support for other languages than English! First out is Svenska, Dansk, Norsk, Italiano and Franais. A few things needed to change in order to make this possible and i have also updated some animations in the game.

Unresponsive game launcherI have added a selfplaying screeensaver. Start Screensaver installer to configure the application. At the end of the installer the Windows Screensaver option menu should launch (Tested in windows 10).
The Screensaver is a build of 2.2.5 and it loads settings from the launcher including Music and Graphical Theme, Graphics settings, Graphical Interface settngs. It is using the setting "Cheat" and therefore High Score is disabled.

Gamepad support is finaly ready. It is built to handle xbox, playstation and generic controllers but the menu and launcher is not complete. If you start the game in Arcade mode there is no need for keyboard or mouse.
If you open the file MadCowBalls2.ini you can edit the keybindings, Autodetect(on/off), Sensitivity and Movement Acceleration level. I will add these options in the launcher later on.

The levels generated randomly now also include a secondary layer with bricks. This layer can active as a random bonus. There is also a possabilty of new secondary layers as a random bonus making it possible for a endless level (very unlikely but still possible).

I have been working on several content updates for the game. This patch includes two more Cow Progress Achievements, two more soundtracks and the Soundtrack Player. It may take a while but bosses will be added to the game later on.
