As mentioned in last week\'s update a lot of work has been taking place enhancing the ship graphics in Pirate Sagas. The new build has landed with these improvements which include:

• damaged sails, with a detrimental effect on how far you can sail per turn

• flags at last, which was complicated before because the initial launch had a directly overhead view

• better burning animations

  [/*]

Several bugs have also been addressed:

• battle ending not being detected if neutral ships were present

• a few minor issues with the new special attacks implemented over the last couple weeks

• increased gold for plunder and treasure

  [/*]

And that\'s a wrap on month #1!

The work now is going to shift focus onto the \"open world\" play style, the goal here is to provide a play mode where you can travel anywhere you wish, carry goods between ports to sell, and accumulate ships through battle, maybe even romance a Governor\'s daughter...

This won\'t be able to be delivered in a single week as each of these features is a big step from the historical campaigns, but a beta branch will be set up later this month for anyone who\'d like to test.
