Sorry for the delay in posting this - the update went out as intended, but I was out of town. We're one month into Early Access and the feedback has been awesome and the team has been working hard towards going final in a few short weeks! Exciting news coming soon, so stay tuned! Keep the feedback coming, as this update incorporates a lot of tweaks and feedback! Critical Fixes:
- Fixed CTD while checking old profile
- Fixed cards getting stuck on units after loading a save game
- Implement unit history in to sotsdex
- Give card rewards for skirmishes / MP games
- Fixed units not using correct camo
- Post combat "Debriefing" dialogue
- Victory points now may pass along a bonus credit reward
- Implement "Unit Lost" speech event
- Constructs are not visible until you are within range to see it, then once you see it, it remains visible
- Fixed combat sound not turning off
- Hook up transport icon and vital unit icon
- Fixed play card effects

Ground Pounders is a hex-based, turn-based strategy wargame. Inspired by classic strategy games like Panzer General, and steeped in the lore of the Sword of the Stars universe, Ground Pounders offers a new generation of gamers an updated taste of turn-based strategic warfare. Best of all, you can play it cross platform between desktop machine and mobile devices.
Ground Pounders lets players control an army from one of two factions. Each army is comprised of dozens of different unit types. You will lead your ground pounders across a variety of worlds, increase their experience levels and abilities over the course of two campaigns, and use them to unlock special action cards that can add special effects to single-player games, or to up the stakes in your cross-platform multi-player battles.
