Hello everyone,
Aleprok was my first project, developed solo over two years with no prior game-dev experience. It has been a massive learning journey for me, and Im incredibly grateful to everyone who has followed along.
Today, I am releasing a performance update focused on optimizing NPC movement, actions, and target-selection logic to reduce CPU usage.
Moving to Free-to-Play As I am currently focusing on my PhD, I no longer have the time to give the game the constant updates it deserves. Rather than letting Aleprok fade away, I want to make it completely free for everyone. I would much rather see people playing, exploring the systems, and enjoying the world I built than have it sit behind a price tag.
