Just like the previous titles in the series, Cats and Seek: Tokyo is free to play with 1 level where you can search for 105 hidden cats. And yes, you can unlock all achievements in this free level! If you're craving more cat-finding fun, there's also a DLC with 4 extra levels and 420 more cats waiting for you. Hopefully, it satisfies your cat-collecting cravings! ^^

So, whats new in Cats and Seek: Tokyo?

• Weve added a brand-new feature called Rubber Stamp Collection, inspired by Eki stamps often found at Japanese train stations and tourist spots a fun way to collect memories through stamps!
  
• And a huge thank-you to our amazing community translators! because of your help, the cat descriptions in Cats and Seek: Tokyo are now available in 18 languages! We received over 120 volunteer sign-ups (so sorry we couldnt include everyone XD some languages were completed really fast!)

Cats and Seek: Tokyo marks the end of our Japan trilogy.

Were incredibly grateful we were able to complete it. This whole series is a love letter to our first-ever trip to Japan in 2019. Its been 6 years, but it still feels like yesterday: enjoying takoyaki in Osaka, exploring Kyotos temples, and gazing at the bright LED lights of Tokyo. Hi everyone! Aprils here already, so its time for a little update from us about whats been happening over last month!

All levels of Cats and Seek: Tokyo are ready!

Kamakura is the final level youll be able to explore through the DLC. So in total, there will be 5 levels (1 free, 4 in the DLC):

• Asakusa (Free)
• Akihabara
• Ueno Park
• Shibuya
• Kamakura

Stamp Collection!

This is a brand-new feature we added, inspired by the Eki Stamps we discovered while wandering around Tokyo last year. In Japan, a lot of train stations and tourist spots have special stamps you can use as souvenirs. We loved the idea so much that we added our own hidden stamps in Cats and Seek: Tokyo! You can find them, collect them, and use them to create your very own in-game artwork.

Community Translation

Yes! By the end of last month, we ran our very first community translation for Cats and Seek: Tokyo, and the response was amazing. We're super grateful for your support! Thanks to everyones help, the game is now translated into 15 languages so far!

Hello everyone! Time flies and here we are in March 2025! Here's a little update on what's been happening since January.

Cats and Seek: Tokyo

As of today, 4 levels are ready to play! You can explore Asakusa, Akihabara, Ueno Park, and Shibuya. Estu is currently working on the final level, making a total of 5 levels in Cats and Seek: Tokyo. One level will be available for free with all its achievements, while the other 4 will be part of the DLC for those who want extra content. Cats and Seek: Toge Land

Back in January, we collaborated with Toge Productions to release Cats and Seek: Toge Land to celebrate their anniversary. We're so happy to see that the game has received 189 reviews so far! Thank you so much to everyone who played and left a review

Prototype

We also tested an early prototype for another game series we're working on. So far, we've received more than 60 feedback submissions through the survey included in the prototype. Thank you to the 180+ members who have joined our Patreon! We've been sharing sneak peeks of upcoming levels there, and we're so grateful for your support. We also received a suggestion from one of our players about community localization. Currently, all cat descriptions are only available in English because there are so many of them, and professional translation would be too expensive for us. Meanwhile, AI translations often produce weird or awkward phrases. I'm now looking into ways to set up a community localization system that would be easy for everyone to use. We cant thank Sarah Johana and the entire Toge team enough for giving us the chance to create this special edition. Its been such a fun and unique project, and we really hope this serves as an awesome birthday gift for Toge Production and the fans. When Sajo first reached out to collaborate, I couldnt help but think this might be a sneaky way to jump the queue for the cat name submissions in Cats and Seek series hahaha. But seriously, Sajo has been supporting Cats and Seek from day one, and were beyond grateful for that. This collaboration was such a refreshing change of pace for us. Between working on the Cats and Seek series, drawing Toges iconic characters was a blast. And it wasnt just Sajo... Toge Productions whole team has been incredibly supportive. The music team even contributed their tracks to the game! How cool is that!
