Bug Fixes 1. Fixed typos in both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese versions. 2. Language recognition improvement: The game will now detect the system language and allow adjustments via the Steam library. If your game still starts in the wrong language, please select the fourth option in the main menu to change it and let us know. 3. Fixed Quick Menu disappearing issue and added Immersive Mode (you can choose to display the menu only when hovering or keep it always visible). This feature requires a new game start and does not work with old save files. 4. Fixed occasional text button movement in the Simplified Chinese main menu when hovering. 5. Fixed an issue where Itch.io players & offline Steam players couldn't unlock Steam achievements due to persistent data conflicts. Optimizations & New Features 6. UI Enhancements:

• Added fade-in effects when entering the main menu, starting a new game, loading a game, or exiting replay mode for a smoother transition.
• Separated the main menu preference page from the in-game settings for better accessibility.

7. New Memory Reset Feature (Delete Persistent Data):

• This allows players to wipe all collectible progress (stamps, endings, paintings, in-game achievement pop-ups, and future glossaries).
• All obtained stats will be erased, letting you unlock everything again from scratch.

8. New shortcut: Scroll up with the mouse wheel to access History (previous dialogue). 9. Character sprite adjustments: fixed spirits for Marie, Johanna, and Jessica. 10. New Special Thanks section added to recognize our amazing Itch.io supporters!

MacBook Launch Issue Explanation

Due to macOS requiring all Steam developers to notarize their games, our game cannot currently be launched directly from the Steam library. At this time, the game has not yet been notarized, meaning MacBook users will need to start the game manually. How to Run the Game? MacBook users can still play the game, but you will need to launch it manually from Local Files (please follow the guide below).
Please do not search for the game in Finderthis method will not allow the game to start. Known Limitations Since the game cannot be launched via Steam, playtime will not be recorded, and Steam achievements cannot be unlocked. This issue does not affect gameplay or save functionality. Future Plans We plan to complete notarization before the full release, allowing MacBook users to launch the game directly from Steam, track playtime, and unlock achievements. Thank you for your love and support for Malleus Cocconum: the Heiress! We have received some valuable feedback from players, and here are the bugs we've identified along with our plans to fix them. Bug Overview 1.Default Language Setting Issue: For English-speaking players, the game defaults to Simplified Chinese. Until this issue is resolved, please manually select the fourth option in the main menu to switch the language. 2.MacBook Launch and Achievement Issues: Some MacBook users have experienced the following problems due to Steam mistakenly identifying the game as a 32-bit program:

• The game cannot be launched from the Steam Library (requires launching from the local files).
• Steam achievements cannot be unlocked, and playtime is not recorded.
• Unfortunately, we are unable to resolve this issue directly, but we have reported it to Valve and are awaiting their response.

3.Typos in Simplified Chinese Text: We will thoroughly review and correct all typos in the Simplified Chinese version of the game. 4.Mouse Hover Issue in the Main Menu (Simplified Chinese Version): In the Simplified Chinese version, main menu buttons shift position when hovered over with the mouse.
