Even more fixes are here! Lets see theres quite a lot here, though most of them are nothing major.
The Genie event got a pretty major buff. The letter pool was increased from 9 to a whopping 16, allowing for more choices when making wishes. Additionally, some new trigger words have been added to the list of possible wishes.
The Clam Boss was getting heavily weakened by defensive crew members or trinkets, making it possible to completely negate its damage to pearls. Now, while defense still applies, it wont fully block the bosss attack on pearls anymore.
Finally solved the mystery of players ending up with seemingly blank dice cargo. Turns out, this was caused by splash damage (most likely from rigged cargo) occurring outside of combat what a weirdly specific combination!
Introducing these two new friendly sky puppies! As if birds werent already too strong, these ones are even harder to obtain but deal more damage than normal ones. I might need to design a new boss specifically to counter mass bird builds...
Figureheads had their fair share of issues too. The Handler one didnt even work at all, and some had weird coloration problems, which should now be fixed. In some rare cases, it was also possible to stack multiple Figureheads, which is definitely not intended or at least, not yet.
Rescuing the Prince had become way too rare due to all the new events, making it much less likely to encounter the King afterward. The chance of encountering the King (after acquiring the Prince) has now been significantly increased, so its no longer a near-impossible gamble.
Fishing got a big improvement. Its now much faster, and you dont need to be as quick to pull up the fish. Just standing around waiting isnt very fun, so the wait time has been cut down to make things more engaging.
The math event was incorrectly displaying random(ish) values on mid-calculation dice when they were on the host ship. The dice still had the correct values, but they displayed incorrectly.
And then for just a list of rest of the minor fixes:
- Rewind event chance is now no longer affected by the Mark trinket.
- Fixed Spy stealing the last cargo piece from an enemy after a Rewind event.
- Fixed some crew ability stacking issues (like Swabbie +1 damage reduction).
- Gave Broom hair instead of a hat.
- The shoot button now only appears once the birds have finished their actions.
- Fixed Teenage Mutant Ninja Frog names not displaying properly.
- Fixed some dice color flashing issues.
- Fixed a rare issue where divine battles could lock up and prevent the player from shooting.
You're finally fed up with your fleet and their incompetence. Take down all 13 of them one by one and claim your spot at the top. Along the way, you'll discover precious cargo dice that represent your ship's vitality and firepower. You may also encounter friendly merchants, carpenters, and potential crew members eager to join and assist you on your journey.
Your ship's cargo consists of dice, and their total pip values represent your ship's total HP. These dice also influence the number of damage dice you roll in combat. Be careful not to let your cargo's total value reach the dreaded number, as even rolling that in combat can have unfavorable consequences.
