Sheep were quite nifty to take the heat off the player, but they had the annoying side-effect of occasionally leading Glurks away from traps.

No more! Now, sheep automatically run toward the closest fox, egg or explosion, leading nasty Glurks to their doom.

Additionally, speech bubbles were added to better explain the effect of each animal, and to serve as a rudimentary tutorial of sorts.

Lastly, it is now possible to force a specific framerate in the options menu, in case Vsync wasn't the right fit.

A game about pets, without cats? Let's rectify that error! Another Little Survivor joined the fight against the Glurk menace: Ann. Unlike Marco who calls his dogs to his position, Ann gets close to her cats and twirls to make them pounce. This new playstyle is harder to master. Use the Mad Glurk for target practice and make him drop his cage before he escapes! There is now a gradual unlock system for the characters. Defeat Oboglax (the first boss) to unlock Eva, then defeat Mibuglax (the second boss) to unlock Ann. No new achievements were added, as the players who already obtained 100% of the achievements might not welcome a dent to their perfect score. Finally, dogs and cats that have not been activated for 4 seconds after the end of their cooldown will be visually marked on the level. We don't want for any of our beloved pets to get lost in the forest!

• Modified secondary animals level indicator for 16:10 screens
• Cygluglax heads have one more health point when playing as Marco (to compensate for the shorter invincibility time of the previous update)
• Glurks who just hit the player no longer benefit from a few frames of invincibility
• Fixed melting visuals not always triggering for Glurks or triggering too much for Cygluglax heads
• Melting sound added for Glurks

The release version had a game breaking bug, occasionally generating empty levels. The update was ready to go live on launch, but due to technical issues, it got lost in limbo. The bugfix is finally publicly available, right now. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I thank you for your patience. Other changes include:

• Decreased invulnerability state of the Glurks
• Hitbox of player puddles (trails) has been increased
• Decreased speed for the arrows shot by Glurk Archers and the ballista
• The ballista stops shooting at the player if it is not visible on the screen
• Pointer arrows indicate the exits of Chapter 1 Level 1 if newcomers remain for too long in the level
