Your motel is full for the first time in years. Rumors of a mysterious curse abound, the citizens of the city begin to spill out to the suburbs and beyond. Your establishment is now overrun with with antsy city folk, exhausted suburbanites, and dispossessed youngsters. In this narrative-driven motel management game, you learn more about your customers’ lives as you check them in to your motel, managing reservations, amenity requests, and document validation. At night, you must tend to the seemingly endless stream of customer service requests: brew tea, recommend restaurants, and cater to their every desire in order to maximize your customers’ satisfaction (and their Yup! scores). As new regulations come down from above, your motel must live up to ever-heightening standards or face fines and even closure. With so much to do, you find yourself pulling all-nighter after all-nighter, but after a week of tireless, sleepless nights, you begin wonder… could you even fall asleep if you tried?
